We have 3 Sprinter 4×4. One of 2002 and two out of 2017. The 4wheel drive system from the 2002 Version is much better than the newer version (in my view)
@@bigorno05 the old version is better because you have da Diff-Lock and the Power can be splitted 50:50 between the Front and the other axis. The 2017 has a system, which is called 4ECTS
Bought one very similar Sprinter today. It’s a 10/2006 so I think it’s one of the last Generation 1 Sprinters. Bringing it home tomorrow. It’s got a rare automatic transmission. Hope it’s a good one. Need to search for a spot to test the 4x4. It’s a van so I’m not expecting Land Rover performance.
It's not imported, probobly a lithuanian that works in norway and came back to lithuania with his car. Nobody imports cars from norway to lithuania. Why would you even import one when you can sell it for alot more than in lithuania? :D
Hey, it's you again! I really hope this is either Norbes' or his brothers car, because this car passed inspection less than a year ago and is still registered here in Norway! There must be a logical explanation for that..
Turns out it's registered to a Lithuanian guy who lives or has lived in Norway, who then either drove it or had it imported over to Lithuania. Nothing dodgy about that :-)
It looks like first was the Rear diff Lock, (you'll see both sides of rear spinning and the there is no drive in the front wheels) the second engaging the transfer case for 4WD enabling the van to drive off.

4x4 is for offroading, awd is for racing, awd has 3 different diffs its way better for racing.

On mine if you lock the riff diff it puts itself in 4x4, mine is 2003 316 4x4
