FINALLY the Gravity Spellblade is here! I have to say that this build was a bit hard to make it work, Gravity spells are too few to have a somewhat competitive build at meta level, so I had the idea to mix them up with some Glintblade sorceries. The result is pretty damn fun to play.
The main combo is Magic Glintblade + Collapsing Stars, but in general Magic Glintblade is one of the most useful and strong sorceries in the game for invasions. You can use it for countless setups and to control the area, since it's capable of damaging opponents while you are fighting elsewhere. You can see it in action in the video, how many times "offscreen" players where just caught when they weren't paying attention to the spell lingering.

This is in the same vein as watching something like star wars for the very first time back when it came out in theaters
It's like watching open world soul caliber being played from 3rd person, with a fully fleshed out moveset.
I've seen it all and done it all in ER man, and you yet again still manage keep somebody jaded like me completely fascinated as if it's my first time playing or watching it.

The Master of Builds has blessed us this day! When making builds, how do you go about balancing movesets with spells? You have some of the most original build setups I've ever seen.
I usually choose the fashion first, and then I follow what aesthetically fits the theme of the build. So then I select the stats with a build calculator to find the right balance between what I really want to use and how effective it actually is. I try the build in some invasions, and then I decide to change it or leave it.

That STYLE. Great use of Alabastar Lord’s Sword there…makes me wanna re-spec my Int-melee build with more strength and try it out. Also that sweet roll catch with follow-up Carian Greatsword. Love to see it. Another gem of a video. Much respect for the hard work that must’ve went in.
This character helped me understand how to use the Carian GS to consistently roll catch people: you just have to wait and delay the second swing of the spell. It's pretty consistent with my casting speed (which is not max out and you don't need to max it out, I guess). It helped better my roll catch with the Darkmoon GS too, I love that weapon now in PvP (it was always a beast in PvE tho).

Using Collapsing Stars to make each Carian Phalanx blade connect was brilliant! Those two gank spanks at the end were satisfying as well. Can't stand seeing Hand of Malenia after the latest patch. You just *know* they were rocking Bullgoat nagi builds pre-patch lol
It is funny though seeing them try to crutch on waterfowl when you are using a colossal weapon though. I had one nasty max level phantom get sick of me and try to pull out only to get full charge colossal r2 several times until they died. L2 Warrior fr

@@prins-henrik1530 Lol yeah. The greatest counter I've seen so far is saint_riot using prayerful strike. You don't even trade, you actually gain HP while interrupting waterfowl it's hilarious.

Muh fashion! Been wearing this exact set since launch, love to see other people appreciating it as well. One of the few uniquely elden ring combinations that have good stats *and* solid fashion
For sure, that chest+legs+arms combo is really good, we have a couple of solid options for the helmet too. I might change it in the future, but right now it's super flashy and pretty good stats wise.

Love the build, and always love the videos. They feel like an experience to me, sets it apart from other souls pvp content creators. About the build, is there a reason a reason you only went 32 str and went higher int? I wouldve thought to go 45 with the talisman so i could use the ruins gs.

To answer your question, I tried different combinations of stats, since I have to address both spells damage and melee damage. A lot of my weapons scaled decently with both, so I had to choose how to balance things out, equip load, mana and all that jazz. Ruin GS is cool, but it's too heavy and I had to change the fashion or at least have a lot more endurance to wield it, so it was not worth it imo.
This build is about bonking in the most intelligent way for maximum damage

With how the Magic Glintblade spell hits after you attack it's like the Red Wolf of Radagon boss fight cause it casts the glintblade then attacks and then it hits after

My interpretation of your build is different in that mine has 32 end, 26 str, 22 dex, 60 int and 31 mind, and it's RL 168, cause I like to cast magic as much as I like melee (and I HATE scratching my head just as my target had

I don’t understand how in the world anyone would like to play an unbalanced game like this one, competitively. I understand the tournaments with a clear rule set and all, but man, it’s more fun (imo) to just embrace the chaos and the silliness of it.
Videos like this make me want to make a cool character to invade with, but then i remember that invading on PC is a third of the time waiting to invade, the other third getting lost connection and the last third getting disconnected mid invasion.
Oh man, that’s a bummer. Activity on PS is not that bad , but is not that great either to be honest. It can be tiring sometimes…

They perform perfectly in a build like this one! I decided to go with the magic affinity because I wanted to do something different from my Coolest Knight (Frost Quality build). But they are for sure a very good option!
