i live in vancouver with my wife and have been here for 30+ years. You hit up literally EVERY one of our favourite spots. I'm so impressed you knew some of these spots. You both definitely did your homework hahha
    Thanks for coming to Vancouver!!!

Next time, I suggest packing a lunch and go nature exploring. Start at the Lynn Canyon Bridge (a free suspension bridge), then drive to Cleveland Dam. At the dam, walk down to salmon hatchery. If the timing is right, then you can even see the salmon spawn. If you're feeling energetic, the Grouse Grind is not far away.
After that, drive on to Horseshoe Bay and explore a bit. The scenery is gorgeous. Then head north to Porteau Cove for more views. Shannon Falls is next and if Grouse Grind wasn't enough, you can hike up the Chief. (about 3+ hours). Finally, drive up to Tantalus lookout, then turn around and drive back to Vancouver.
Try to time it so you can make it to the Quercus point in Murrin Provincial Park in time for sunset. The hike up there is pretty easy, takes about 30 minutes. So if sunset is 7, get started on the hike at 6pm. IMO, best sunset ever. Bring a flashlight because it'll be dark going down.

Haha it was. This trip was mostly an eating trip so we did a lot of research ahead of time and made sure we hit up as many spots as we can :)

I lived in Vancouver BC for 2 years. And I've been around the world very much and livet in many countries. I must say Vancouver is the top 3 worst city's in the world. Boring, no own culture and just boring.

Sorry to hear that. We've once been twice and we love eating there. So far, the food (mostly Asian food) has been a big part of how we experience the culture there :)

I've lived in many cities across Europe, Asia and North America, and Vancouver is actually one of my favorites! I'm more of an introvert, and I really enjoy the outdoors. Vancouver is a great place to live if you appreciate its proximity to the oceans and mountains. Activities such as hiking, kayaking, canoeing, snowboarding, skiing are so accessible and I love being able to do these things after work. The variety of food is also outstanding, as the city is incredibly multi-cultural. Lastly, it's very unlikely that you'll be pickpocketed, shot, or robbed.
