To 32:15 min: Yea, when the Tama station (Space Detroit Sotiyo) got destroyed some weeks ago, the most expensive killmail in the system that day was not the station itself, but a Yacht hauling skill injectors (worth 45 bil or so)... It got caught at the highsec gate in Tama by the same fleet that destroyed the station.
Thank god you don't have a monopoly on hauling. It's impossible to get killed if you haul properly. It's pure profit and pricing is where it should be.
@oz_eve The risk vs Reward for courier: I know a some people think HS ganking happens at random. If it did, than courier trips would indeed not be viable. The reason they can keep on going and also make good money is because they know what they're doing and can therefore go many years without getting ganked. If you max tank your freighter and don't carry too much cargo it's in general a very low chance of getting ganked. You can even carry many packages where the total value is 10,15 or 20 billion in collateral with rewards of hundreds of million but then you have to scout ahead with an alt to ensure that you won't get ganked. Gankers need to have a big setup of characters ready to go in order to gank a maxed tanked freighter so scouting ahead makes ganking these types of targets almost impossible.
