But, through them, I have learned a great deal about life and culture in Indonesia (and, to a certain extent, Islam) and they have given me so much inspiration and hope for the future of humans of all beliefs to be able to live together! They are fierce advocates for human rights for all people and they promote peace, tolerance and safety for everyone, particularly those who have the hardest time being heard! All their original songs have strong social critiques and, even though they are physically small, they do NOT back down!
Thanks for checking them out. They come from a small village and have had to work hard to get to where they are now. I love how feisty they are, most of their original songs have lyrics that are protesting something. Besides their original songs they have a lot of covers that are quite good.
