Honestly, I don't believe for a second Ward didn't know. We're talking about one of the best spies in the world. I think he knew she'd figured it out and was just trying to enjoy pretending she still saw him the way she did before for a little while longer

Sky never outsmarted Ward!!!! So stop saying that!!! Ward is a top spy, assassin and a double agent. He is not dumb. He knows exactly what he is doing! He knew Sky would find out eventually (,he probably knew she knew when she came back all nervous,) and that she would tell Shield. Ward knew the authorities were coming, cause he already knew Skye would of told. He didn't need her to tell him that to figure it out. But he was there because he wanted Skye to come with him
