The music of Cassini is woven into my childhood and hearing this made me tear up. I skated to your music as a kid, i danced, i learned about odd time sigs through your music, i learned the beginnings of mixing through your music. I purchased superior drummer 3.0 when i got the money cause i knew its what you used. You've so heavily influenced me, despite me making music for artists here in Egypt that are so far detached from you creatively, brandwise and else-wise. Life is so odd Make a damn new album already i want meat to dig into!!!!!!!! respectfully So much love.

The drums sound so huge on this. Every song sounds phenomenal. A rival's waltz sounds straight of a Studio Ghibli film and the funky twist on Set Course For Andromeda is so cool. Can't wait for what comes next with new music!!
Can't believe it's been 10 years. I remember stumbling across invent the universe on bandcamp randomly (searched 'progressive metal' or something) and your music was my gateway into the modern prog/bedroom guitarist scene at the time. Still some of my favourite records till now!

Mandalay is the name of the one of the cities in a country called Myanmar/Burma. Since Si Thu's parents are from Myanmar/Burma,he used that city name to make a song.

Sithu! As a guitar player myself, I have a certain style and sound in my head, yet don't have the skill to achieve those sounds myself. Because you possess what I do not, thankfully I can still hear the music that I've dreamt of playing my whole life.

Ive been a fan for about 7 years or so now and still love all your composition. They find they are incredibly original, technical, has that "great groove" that all music needs, the chords, harmonies, the structures, the musics easy way of communicating its feeling, and everything else! Your music has always been very memorable and original in this sea of too many people playing and using literally the same exact sounding music. (I know were dont live in a vacuum though like the saying goes...) You're music is easily top tier in musicianship, recording, engineering, etc and its great I found you. It was definitely quite a few years after I came across Misha(Bulb), (way before Periphery) when he was uploading/using to his old SoundClick account and creating this extremely unique form of Music that eventually got coined "Djent" that eventually which I guess it could simply be said its closest to meshuggah mixed with prog jazz, very sharp clean tone , clean delays/reverbs, syncopation, with great phasing, etc or whatever. Pick 1 or 2 and your in the club, lol. Then of course Tosin Abasi and Misha wrote drums, wrote some guitar, and record/mix/mastered Tosin's Self Titled Album. I definitely believe Misha injected Steroids into the Entire Guitar player scene along with Tosin (of course), and the great people they worked with and were inspired by. Anyways, my tastes eventually led to you and a lot of other great bands. Its hard to keep up (im getting old it feels). Seems like a new band/EP/solo artist comes out every freakin day with great sounding compositions and good old Home PC Engineering with VST's and VSTi's Galore. But, I definitely wouldnt consider you "Djent" if that means anything. Its a different beast to me. I feel some of your music has alot of Anime inspired style Rock/Music along other little things that make your music so unique. Keep on playing and recording please. Maybe one of these days ill get to see you play live in the Oregon area (even if its just you playing guitar and a PA) Take Care, Brother.

I remember when I've discovered your music, Invent the Universe has been one of my all time favorite, and each record you made i've listened for days or even weeks It always amoused me how wonderful the tunes you writed, and now with this Remixes and Reimaginings, damn. Something that i loved is that you always look for new ways to make your music, the EDM Remixes on this on are truly delightful and sincerely i prefer them over the originals, but the originals has good memories for me So is 50/50 haha Thank you so much for sharing your amazing work!

This is a really cool and novel idea, I wish more bands would try remixing/reharmonizing their own work (even if I generally prefer the old versions.. exemplified by the fact the ending riff of Skye was cut from the remix... like seriously... who would do that??!)
