Remember that a deck like this HAS to be able to build a competent board easily to be effective since it can't run ANY of the common Spell/Traps that defend against hand traps and board breakers. That also means it's going to play a LOT of hand traps itself, which is where the actual annoyance lies.
Honestly, this is swordsoul to the extreme. I already hate swordsoul because of the sheer amount of handtraps and one card starters.
This is similar. So my advice? Run 3 of droll and 3 Dark ruler.
Instant quits against most combo heavy monster decks that don’t run a Yang package.
@@choco699you think swordsoul has alot of one card starters??? Other than a single synchro 8 with taia, every combo is atleast a 1.5 card opening
@@luckyzak4303 Emergence by itself gives you Chixiao + Draco Berserker through taia dumping ashuna and Chixiao banishing blackout from deck

Running 3x Droll and 3x No More DR is pretty useful against the superheavy meta, droll going first or second if you haven't already set up your board, and No More going second against their Unbreakable board. If you're running Branded, pop their field with Mirrorjade by attacking Baronne or if you have Chaos Angel, banish Borreload and attack Baronne then try to use albaz with their extra deck monsters like Naturia Beast or Collosus into Mirrorjade and Banish another, leaving them with practically nothing. Super poly into starving Venom is also pretty good because you can copy effects and if they negate it with Barone, pop their field.
For branded I like 3x droll and five rainbow

blaze fenix is limited but there is already a build of SHS on MD that can FTK with promethean princess to reborn blaze fenix, and if thats not enough u go into amblowhale and summon Zealantis to banish and reborn blaze fenix, so you can use blaze fenix effect 3 times.

Looks like jet synchron & olion are the only bricks but shs has alternate lines if you open those you just wont end on collossus & nat beast but you can still make appo regulus baronne maybe savage in that state

Remeber to droll only when the opponent has a monster on the field. They are playing gamma so be patient. Also, Eudemon sensei, where is the best place to ash or imperm?
Gamma is at 2 though. Also, if you droll after they get wakaushi + big benkei on board, they could still end on bagooska and maybe a baronne which is still annoying to deal with for most decks.

@@ezkhel True but with master duel's rng, I always assume the worst. I play sky strikers going second only so might be unique to me. Good point. Maybe, if one has enough gas to play through bagooska and baronne, then it might be worth it.
@@s.p.ionage Well for sky strikers, bagooska + baronne isn't really a problem lol. Your links aren't affected by bagooska and both can be dealt with using a widow anchor. Just be careful though because if you deal with the bagooska, their baronne negate which is a backup is going to be live.

Literally just imperm it or pop it with your in archetype spells, and even then your links are not affected by it. Shouldnt you also have literally raigeki? I swear your types of player make sky striker sound like a hard deck when its actually brainrot.

Equip Soulpiercer to Wagon
Make Scarecrow with Wagon
Search Wakaushi with Soulpiercer.
From there on, it's the usual stuff.
Normal wagon, switch to defense, switch to attack, search soul piercer, attach soul piercer, go into link 1. soul piercer effect = full combo still. Just slightly worse since easier to disrupt

so you wont have this extra search which make me ask what will the combo look like if you start with it
as you cannot just follow how well you do it with soulpiercer start
the obly way that i see is he simply will summon regulus faster and destry it with barron effect than soulhorn attach and summon
the only thing you will not summon the level 8 shs synchro monster but its not really a big deal
my opponent most of the time, they always full combo no matter what u throw at them, u maxx c they ash but when they maxx c u dont have anything to counter it :v. sometime tcg is more fun than this T_T

reframing(omni negate+potential destroy), you search it with amritara and you can also banish reframing while its in the grave to recycle amritara, still allowing you to not have spells or traps in the graveyard

what if you draw o-lion?
You should play 2 copies of o-lion, if you only play 1 drawing it kills your combo. If you play 2 and draw both it's graveyard effect will still let you play
10 hours combo... i hate modern yugi so much is unreal...
I mean, Hand Traps exist for that. Also you dont need to play combo decks.
Pendulums were a mistake and this is exactly why, they knew this would eventually happen when they made the mechanic
