I bought a trio yesterday - wild colour. I think they are adorable.
Its scientific name is actually Excalfactoria chinensis and the king quail is not a true quail, the genus Excalfactoria contains two species, the other extant species of this genus is the african blue quail (Excalfactoria adansonii) and belongs to the family Gallidae.

Depending on the species of parrot, maybe yes. The quail are very friendly, so the parrot species makes it possible or not.
I'd advise against it. Especially if the quail hatch babies. Could have an unpleasant outcome
Amazons and Macaws eat eggs of other birds in wildness and I've known that Amazons can eat meat so it's not a wood idea to add big parrots to the enclosure, but cockatiels and budgies or even better canaries and finches will do fine, even facility pigeons could be an option as they are not as aggressive as a bantam may be .
Silvi Jano you can house small type of parrots like parakeets. But DON’T house anything larger than a parakeet like a live bird etc

Marti woodchip Foul fish water? You should see the chicken I had, it preferred to drink out of a large pot outside I used as a small pond for small fish rather than his own little water dish. No filter in it either. Just a power head and and a ton of plants. Ammonia and nitrates where low. Also how else do you think wild birds get their water? Yesh these things even eat their own poop.
even wild birds drink water from puddles...it wont hurt them
these birds are USELESS....they are not even friendly...I was tolled they would be friendly but they weren't so I ended up butchering them....at least they tasted good...now I am raising texas A&M quail and they are not only friendly but they taste even better...I have certain ones that are used for egg production and even though the eggs are small they still taste great...planning on hatching more next year for eating.
