Instead of chaining and then sc for the lanyard, I did foundation single crochets. Looks great, very sturdy, no worry about twisting and makes the lanyard in one step. Thought I’d share

I’m looking and this pattern doesn’t do two sc in a space. Here is the pattern, I fixed some typos and I think watching the video would help. www.amyscrochetpatterns.com/2018/04/crochet-wine-glass-holder-pattern.html?m=1 here is the pattern, Rnd 1: Ch-20. Join with st st to first chain, this will create a ring. You will slip this hole over the bottom of the wine glass.
Rnd 2: *ch-4, skip the next 2 chs, sc in next ch *Repeat around, Ch-4 and sl st in beg stitch.
Rnd 3: *ch-3 [sc, ch-3, sc] in the ch-space *Repeat around, ch-3, continue on without a slip stitch.
Rnds 4 - 10: *sc once around the first ch-space from previous row, ch3, sc, *ch 3, in the next chain space, sc, ch 3, sc, * Repeat around.
Repeat until desired height is reached. Don't fasten off and Start the strap. Chain 65, sl st to the other side.
