Having the ball make that sound when you throw it must be so satisfying (I am talking about the sizzle of the ball in the air, not the catcher catching the ball.)
So factual
The only sound better is when you compress a golf ball perfectly and it sounds like a thunder clap
It iss
I'm more impressed by the guy who can catch a 100+ MPH throw.
@@ExoticDva I can only throw 88
When I was 8 playing baseball, I wanted to be pitcher so bad. I hated playing outfield. I begged coach to let be try pitching. He let me. I hit the first three players and never wanted to pitch again.
Bruh😂😂 nah i get it but shit man nolan ryan started somewhere 🤣🤣🤣
You think that’s bad I had your same story went to pitch and threw my arm out still to this day my rotator cuff Is fucked
😂😂😂
Same I was in little league but I just gave runs after runs and after runs
Same here man i had a cannon arm couldn't get the grip right i hit a kid when he turned it went thump om his ribs🤣🤣🤣🤣 that or it was in the dirt
controlled 97 is mad skill
What is controlled?
Yep
They had gloves so its not that hard
@@Potato.47123: Potato is what resides in your skull if you think accurately pitching at 97mph is easy.
@@warrengauthier4699 yes it will only effect a little pain
As a former minor league player I can tell you this is pitching poetry in motion. Elite form and drive as well!
Batted .244 in rookie ball, that’s not too bad man, what happened?
@@ArtVandelay1996 Lol. 316 first half but after injury and playing on loan to the Cubs I really thought I was well on my way. I used to be right there with guys like Julio Franco, Mel Hall (Sad to recently hear his story) and Carmello Martinez. I'd hit .454 in college after quiting, but was blessed to get a taste and meet my hero Frank Robinson and get compliments about my swing from Harmon Killebrew, Eddie Matthews and a few players who would make it to "The Show". The late "Pistol" Pete Maravich gave me the best advice when I met him and his Dad while I was assisting him in a tour... He joked one day and said I should have been a first round pick but he asked jokingly the last time I spoke with him "So, how much money did THAT cost you (because I played drums, football and basketball instead of focusing one my love for baseball like he did in basketball). I was and am blessed, Leonardo. I had the chance that millions have dreamed of and can tell you it was worth more than money could buy. Be happy and prosper. Thanks for asking!
@@ArtVandelay1996 what did u bat ?
@@someone.621 I wasn’t shaming him at all, I was genuinely curious about his career because on paper his stats look good for a player at the A-Level, it’s nice to converse with those who played pro ball!
@@keithshowell6688 I appreciate feedback from your experience Keith😊
Baseball sounds are so satisfying🤤, who all agrees?

Unless you're the glove
@@robertreichardt4509Nah I'd say performing the task you were designed for is pretty satisfying
Him: How many times did you watch this?
Me: YES!
Generating that kind of ball speed is absolutely tremendous!! Let alone the accuracy, my goodness.....what talent!
LOL lots of people can do that.
@@willshad Incorrect sir, this is a gift that not very many people possess. Check your self-centered ness at the door please, thank you!
i'd say under 100 people in the world can throw 97, and even less with accuracy lmao @@willshad
“I’m taking that 450” 🤓
You got to see it first
🤓

Nah maybe 50 feet pfp to the pitcher😂
I’m in a trance, can’t stop watching
It’s the hum. I miss the hum.
What a smooth delivery!
This must be his windup . If this is pitching from the stretch, i think it would be considered a balk
@@brianlongley9624 Exactly what i was thinking. I can see this being called a balk
His stance is too wide causing him to be a little off balanced! It causes him to make excessive movements to regain his balance before delivering! That creates a Balk movement!!! Bringing the left foot in/closer to the right foot will give himself improved balance and eliminate that excessive movement!!!
Man I'm a catcher and man ik how it is catching those and it don't feel good but it feels mentally good just to know what you can do and that you can catch those things
The close in, behind the pitcher, with the sound, really emphasizes the true speed a hitter has to deal with. Great vid!
If I was that catcher I would be shakin if that ball was coming towards me 97 MPH! It makes sense bc I don’t play baseball but that’s rlly impressive
Imagine a 1 hop off the ground....I would set my personal best on vertical jump
You don’t start out at 97. You catch in the little league, high school, etc. If you’re catching a 97 mph fastball, you have caught so much, it is not a big deal.
He is faster than fast quicker than quick he is speed
That’s catchers hand is probably still recovering
I miss it ! That sound is addictive , and it’s funny when you’re throwing them , you don’t hear them , you feel it ! The catchers and batters hear all the Ching music !
Sheesh big throw right there really fast too, keep it up! :) 😃
how did you record me while warming up?
Ohh sure
Ye your not the guy who did that
a stand
I set up the phone before putting my catchers gear on btw
Cap
That sound is amazing
He cut air with that force
That was the cleanest throw I’ve ever seen
I never realized how skilled a person has to be to be a major league pitcher. Throwing a baseball in all different speeds is fascinating.
Dat is such a clean pitch man!
That's a beautiful pitch.
It's actually a little flat if you ask me. Might clock at 97, but it probably looks closer to 90 to a batter
You never notice how fast 100 and 95 are until you look from the pitcher or batter position
Nice fluid motion
Beautiful... This is appreciated by old arms
Jimmy darts got an arm on him. He gave the first person to catch his fastball $500!
I caught my first game at 30 yrs old, kid was 24yrs old throwin heat, 90-94 at best. After the game my hand was black and blue 😂
He offers $500 to who cath his ball first person who tried is not alive anymore! Lol
That Pichert, at 54 years old, calmly learned the fastballs and the ones he had in mind.
I'd rock these all day. If it ain't 110+ MPH, these pitches get rocked 24/7.
Can we get a walk through for the up coming pitchers
That pop is satisfying
THAT................WAS...............SO...................CLEAN
Fs the most genuine podcast light not to heavy keep up the great work
That sound of the ball popping the glove is one of the four most satisfying sounds in sports.
The others being a loud crack of a ball off the bat, a slapshot going bar down, and a nothing but net jump shot.
You forgot the crushing sound you get when you hit somebody and break their orbital bone in fight sports 🤩
@@armandoiriarte8987 ehh personally that’s not my thing. However, I did enjoy the sound of a squarely landed haymaker or even a hook when I used to watch boxing. I haven’t probably watched in 15 years or so, but yeah, combat sports can give some oddly satisfying sounds at times
Football? And all the pads hitting each other?
Woooo qué bonito se ve esa soltura de la bola ⚾️ uff
It’s one thing to throw hard with speed, to do so accurately and consistently is quite another.
I’m a pitcher and always loved the sounds and smells of baseball season. That pop sounds great!!
The legendary John Rocker had a drill named after him. Its big in New York.
Good one! And Rocker was da *MAN!!*
@@donarthiazi2443I’ve got a John rocker signed baseball.

Very Cool! _😎_
BAMM!!!!!
Great mechanics! And accuracy for strikes...
These movements are so perfect he's like some ai💀
“And Bregman hits it out”
it was a fastball down the pipe
Best pitch I have ever seen ⚾
Thats sad or you just don't watch baseball
Throwing that steam 🔥 ⚾️ well done sir
Baseball ain’t easy might be one of the hardest sports to play
I think there’re all pretty much the hardest when you actually think about it
It’s almost like a lot of the people in the comments don’t understand this is a drill, not a delivery. Lord almighty.
No movement that ball gonna get hit 450 by a pro hitter
He's been throwing well in AAA
@@treadathletics is he getting called up soon you think
🤞
I dont know anything about pitching, but it looks like a weird, yet very stable delivery.
Is that what a normal delivery looks like from this angle?
When you see the way he winds up and throws, it looks like he couldn't miss his target. Everything is going exactly straight towards the spot he wants to throw
If I was against that picture I would die☠️
Beautiful just beautiful
Sys7sh7 I am so yo in my year and the last time we met and we are so thankful to be able and to have our family 👪 and to the rest are just fine by 7th and the day of your wedding and the other one 6th and 10th and
Ahwahnee I am going but will try and send it been out that if you'd 6th and I can send it
this is so satisfying
Catcher didn’t even react what a legend.
11:00 slot at 97mph?! 😳 That's gonna be trouble for any batter
Balk, you took the feet off the line XD
Who am I kidding I can hardly throw 64mph
You are right about the balk, though. He made a move towards the plate and went to the wind up. But no runners, so no balk.
The bases are empty.
it’s a drill tf
That catcher’s hand must hurt
It won’t hurt, i Play baseball and i’m a Catcher myself, If you catch it wrong it’ll hurt but they have a special catchers glove and they practice a lot. A catchers glove has a lot of patting and layers in it so they almost don’t feel a thing. Don’t worry! They are fine :D
@@1nonlyNamiEdits im a catcher and i agree. But if the ball hits you in the thumb it still hurts even with the padding
I’ve never seen something more satisfying
That’s crazy fast and such a good throw but we need to give catchers more credit
Maybe 85MPH but still nice..
About to start pitching next year. Can't wait.
yo the ball went directly to the catcher very good accuracy
Ooof! That pitch was fire 🔥
Nice form
So good the catcher was framed before the pitch hit his glove😂 talk about a perfect fastball
Thanks for the tip. I’m sorting Fall ball
this year.
This was my literal dream before tendinitis in my elbow at age 16 ruined it all... youngsters, just WAIT to throw breaking balls (curve, slider, etc.)
I'm living proof you should wait. 💯
Pitching 97 from the stretch like this is harddddddd
SOMEBODY'S FEELING PUMPED UP TODAY
The funny thing is, it didn’t even look like he was trying.it was so effortless
I used to throw 97 when I felt like it 😂
That looked aaaaaawesome
I wish I got to play baseball when I was younger.
I just showed this clip to my younger brother who was bowling like this right on my head while playing cricket at the streetsm
That game is gonna be an all-nighter!
“bautista sends a drive, deep left field”….
No doubt about it!
That catcher is the truth.
He balked
That release point is awesome!
bro casually said “yes.”
Trouble with the Curve is right your alley.
Very little effort put into this throw.. Impressive af
Beautiful pitching skills 👏
I believe that you're Nolan Ryan Jr bro throwin fireballs 💯💯👍👍😎
This really good piching and good effort
❤
The fizz and the pop are 2 best sounds in baseball as a Pitcher
Nice form, good pop, great accuracy. In the game, move it around 😉
Bro just caught it like nothing while this be training his whole life for this moment
He throws so hard
ESPEN
-“and he’s only in kindergarten “
Ball freaking jumps out of his hand. Effortless gas
That was beautiful
What a beautiful thing it is to barrel 97 mph.
Where in the F was my coaching? 1983, 16 years old, throwing 83mph on radar at the county fair. I was to skinny.😂
This is so satisfying to watch
That is a beauty change of score pitch 😮😅
The speed of the ball is incredible 🎉...
Dude got that Randy Johnson Frame
He’s. 6’9

HE IS THROWING GASSSSSSSS!!!!!!!
That is some real heat right there and had a Little tali at the end kid Will be a pro somewhere if not mlb overseas some place.i wish you lots of luck. Cause sometimes not all the best players are playing pro
