I used to be right there with guys like Julio Franco, Mel Hall (Sad to recently hear his story) and Carmello Martinez. I'd hit .454 in college after quiting, but was blessed to get a taste and meet my hero Frank Robinson and get compliments about my swing from Harmon Killebrew, Eddie Matthews and a few players who would make it to "The Show". The late "Pistol" Pete Maravich gave me the best advice when I met him and his Dad while I was assisting him in a tour... He joked one day and said I should have been a first round pick but he asked jokingly the last time I spoke with him "So, how much money did THAT cost you (because I played drums, football and basketball instead of focusing one my love for baseball like he did in basketball). I was and am blessed, Leonardo. I had the chance that millions have dreamed of and can tell you it was worth more than money could buy. Be happy and prosper. Thanks for asking!
