- The mighty Aprilia Tuono Factory has a reputation as one of the best hyper naked bikes on the market, so I took one for a test ride at Wheels Motorcycles in Peterborough.

Congratulations that is an awesome motorcycle! I’ve owned 2 Tuono Factory models and absolutely loved them. Never had a problem with either bike but will say they are expensive to own in regards to tires and general maintenance but totally worth it. Enjoy!

@@pistolpete6321 I am very lucky to have 3 bikes, my Tiger 900 is the main steed, the Speed Twin and Tuono are both sunny day machines.

I actually test ride that very bike then bought one from Wheels myself. Also own a 900 gt pro and live in Northampton as I’m guessing you do? Weird eh? 😁👍 subscribed.
Get your preloads done - they are still done manually like non-electronic bikes - then dial up your damping (compression and rebound) done electronically. Good 2 part series on CZcams by Motobuff. I can see the frnt end bouncing suggesting the damping is too light. The high numbers mean very little damping - has high numbers - 30 is no damping. Try middle numbers for each and then move around from there.
I am planning on getting it properly set up for myself at a suspension specialist at some point.
I had that done on my old street triple R a few years ago, and it transformed the bike. 👍🏻
@@ukveganbikers my guy only did one of the 3 manual modes. Make sure you do all. Likely all with a bit different profile so you can switch them up on the fly. Go to T2 screen and use up or down button on left switchgear! Not the +/- buttons

My CB1000R feels ballistic enough, this must feel like being fired out of a cannon when you twist the throttle! Thank you! The Suzuki was obviously a bit more comfortable being a sports tourer, but engine wise the Aprilia is a bit more ballistic!
@UK Vegan Bikers I bet. Those are the two bikes I was wanting to get but can't decide. I need to test drive both first. The suziki is cheaper but it don't have a v4 or as good as breaks and suspension at the aprilia.

Funnily enough, it's actually a more refined than the Speed Triple and easier to ride on the road! The ST is far too track focussed for the road in my opinion.
