Thank you so much for your info. I have piddled on mine for weeks, was just about to go buy a new one which I really didn't have the money for. You saved me money and it only took a little time.

I did not even know this tube existed and I've had this vaccum for years now. Could not for the life of me figure out why it wasn't working. Thanks

I have a rotator (but it's the NV751 ROTATOR) NV751 and the roller head started bunching up fur from the household pets. I remove rotator headcover and saw clumps and clumps of fur.
I also noticed a BLOCKAGE upstream in the hose.
It was one of those BLEEPING, "CHILD-PROOF OUTLET COVER CAPS blocking the hose. It nearly perfectly covered the diameter of the pickup hose.
Using the screwdriver and a pair of needle-nose pliers I was able to remove the blockage and viola! The vacuum was working again. Like new.
I then proceeded to pick up enough fur from an area rug, enough to make 3 small dogs or cats.
I always check filters first and then the roller head section then the hosing sections for any blockage.
I hope this tip helps some other Rotator NV751 owner.

All you had to do is press the lift away button to see the clog. u didn't have to unscrew just to let you know

Could they make a more overly complicated pos? Do the design engineers ever use this? I’ll avoid buying a Shark in the future!

Mine sounds like a damper or rubber valve closing when I start up, it takes about 2,3 seconds for the closing valve sound in the air flow.

I have this same Shark Rotator model (Bought new). After only 2 weeks of light use, the beater bar motor stopped spinning (Bar spins freely and belt is OK). Will try to make contact with Amazon seller or the manufacture. Not impressed...

The most common place mine gets clogged is right where yours is clogged in this video. The white area on the vacuum you were trying to unscrew has zero to do with clogging. There's actually no way for it to become clogged there.

But that part has to be taken apart if the lower hose has to be replaced.

Lol, I think you should let your wife handle the clogs on this machine. Lol, you did this so wrong, and possibly voided your warranty. This is without question the best shark model, they thought of everything in advance. No screw drivers required.

I feel that this guy is lacking some common sense. Maybe, if he stands sweeper up, and puts foot on the foot print to let the handle lay down, then maybe there are more screws to be removed to release the part that he never did get removed. I don''t think that he ever even handled this sweeper before trying to perform this non functional video. Waste of my time, since he didn't really know anymore than I do!!!!
