How to turn DJI RS3 PRO into Portrait Mode

DJI RS3 PRO make it easy to turn into portrait mode even when your camera is horizontally balanced, however I personally like to directly balance my camera in portrait mode as it is easier to carry the gimbal this way, what's your opinion?

I just got my DJI RS3 Pro and I’m a newby. To be sure I got the DJI R vertical mount but having the portrait mode on the gimbal, is the vertical mount really necessary? 🧐

You need to calibrate vertically to use this setting

when you are balancing the gimbal(when it's in horizontal mode), yes you need to calibrate it first, after when you turn it into portrait mode, you dont have to calibrate anymore
