I wasn't planning on buying this one at first because I have the DC Collectibles version and I really like that one. But the sculpt on the McFarlane looks superior and the proportions look better too.
Just the paint is worse
At least the McFarlane one bothered to give him the lot up eyes, the dc direct one didn’t have eyes, that was a deal breaker for me.
A light up one would be awesome!
Amen more light up features when needed don't force it you know what I mean
I love this line but this is a prime example of more paint details would enhance I really wish Todd would step up.

Mine also came with a super loose left ankle joint. I had to rotate it too, just to get it in correct alignment w the foot so it bent up and down correctly.

The Robin on the left looks like JT . As for the one on the right that’s Richard Grayson . Because when he appeared as Robin in teen Titans back in the eighties that’s what he would look like . Great video btw .

The bomb is a flash bang and it’s not a grapple launcher it’s a bat claw he use it to grab Enemies and pull him towards them and kicks him like robin in the game

Then he never uses it in this suit. Only time I saw him use it was the end when he grappled up

Looking back on this video because I just ordered this guy and man.. it is crazy how Jason Todd has become so Many iconic characters.. it's a little upsetting tho because this Arkham knight character is so cool and how dope would it be to have red hood vs this character?! Lol
In my action figure world, they are separate characters. Just like in the comics.

Looks the same to me, Godspeed, TV Flash, & Grifter use the new style ankles.
I thought this was supposed to be the newer Arkham Knight based on the comic books that is not Jason Todd versus the game.
This is supposed to be the game version although I’m going to use as the comic version
i prefer the DC Collectibles version over the Mcfarlane. The DC Direct looks better with the red camo. I was surprised to see that the DC Direct is close to the scale of the Mcfarlane. Have you made a review for the God Speed?

The no gun rule doesn’t make sense since almost every Star Wars figure comes with at least one gun. Not sure about marvel since they have superpowers and don’t need any other weapons.

His identity is supposed to be a surprise and they denied it was Jason Todd before the game came out, but the twist is so heavily telegraphed just talking about him in any capacity is enough to spoil it’s their take on Under the Hood (made even more obvious by the fact there’s DLC where Red Hood is a playable character in challenge maps).

since i onl y collect one version of each chracter i was gonna skip this one since it was another jason todd but now that i know about astrid arkham maybe i can fudge this one into my collection! likeive done a few other figures !!!

So as an algorithm feeder, I'm gonna be honest: Part of the reason I've been waiting for this one over the DCC one is BECAUSE of the less accurate paint apps. The camo, while accurate to the games, is really just there to be another nod to the blatantly obvious "THIS IS JASON TODD" plot twist later in the game, and serves no practical function as a uniform (what's he trying to blend against? The Red sky of a DC Crisis or TNBA?).
As someone who will be displaying against other Jason Todd figures, I like that this one is all the more visually striking. Yeah, I do hope they make a more accurate one later on for the fans who want it, but I'm happy to get this take on it.

@@dHuntersReviews and thats valid. Seeing him with the custom militia the missing camo is all the more striking. As I said, I hope McFarlane ends up doing both (he does love his repaints) but I'm happy to get this one.

Thankfully this isn't a horribly difficult fix. One you shouldnt have to make, but if its messy... oh well, it's camo.

@@dHuntersReviews I feel like they will do one that's accurate to the game for a gold label they've done it a few times like the new cat woman with a accurate mask that's not been officially announced but people have found in stores and the dark knight returns batman from the superman two pack he has a more accurate head and paint job
Catwoman was wrong because of bad promotional material they were given, this game has been out for 7 years, no excuses. It’s possible, but I really doubt it.
