She is the definition of talent. She was born with a gift that you can’t teach. You can hone that gift with hard work but you can’t get that good that young without being born with something very special….
The best production for a single song that i have ever seen or heard. absolutely breath taking.
This is a world class performance. Forget that she was 10 when she did this in the studio and 11 in this concert.
At 23 now she is much better and doing her own songs.
I was there, 2nd row, at 1st cello location .. got some good snapshots, AND digicorder of the raw audio we heard, out pf the PA speakers. AMAZING THIS WAS.While her vocals were LIVE-LIVE, MOST OF PIANO, AND HERE, THE ASIAN TRAD. INSTRUMENTS/DRUMS seemed to be on a playback trac. ORCHESTRA EAS REALLY PLAYING TOO.
AMAZING, SHE TURNED 11 WHILE working this great production.
I was also at her 2014 AWAKENING Live In Concert filming in Pennsylvania.
PS::: THIS 2011 production on that beautiful April evening (3+ hours to produce), was ABSOLUTELY the most amazing musical experience EVER, and maybe, forevermore.

My wife and I saw Jackie’s audition on AGT in 2010. My wife was on her deathbed at that time her and I were blown away this little girls voice my wife was a lover of classical music and both of us couldn’t wait for her semifinal performance the next week. One hour before AGT was to come on my wife passed away. Was married to her for 40 years never been with another woman we were really close. So everything went silent for 10 months then I was on Facebook and they advertised AGT coming on I thought what happen to the beautiful little girl that sang so good so I went on CZcams and found here and started catching up with her. It’s been over 12 years now since I lost my wife Jackie’s voice helps me cope with my lose I listen to her everyday have all her CD’s I’m sure is I didn’t have Jackie’s voice to hear I would have ended it long ago. Her voice enters into my heart and soul. I’m a Vietnam combat Veteran and her voice helps me with my PTSD. Thank you God for this beautiful angel. I just discovered your channel you do a fantastic job reactions on my little angel. Thank you.

For her age, she is such a classic performer. I do not have enough words to express how good she is. I wish we could see more of her on tv. She twenty two now, but is just as good.
If you think this girl was amazing at 11, you should hear her now at 24 - and in all the years between. My, how time has flown by, and how beautiful a young woman Jackie has become. Ther is only one like her - there will never be another.

"Breathtakingly Beautiful"!!!!!!!! Just Wow!!!!!! David Foster's arrangement, the phenomenal orchestra, and Jackie's beautiful voice and talent made it absolute perfection. This song is from the movie "House of "Flying Daggers" the lyrics are so beautiful and moving. Jackie's voice and talent always reaches your soul, and your emotion has got to come pouring out. First you get the chills, and then the goosebumps, and then you realize you have tears running down your cheeks. This is what I experience when I hear Jackie sing. I know I'm not the only one that's had this experience listening to Jackie's beautiful voice, at this age, and at this time currently. Shakes, I appreciate you posting this amazing song from my long donation list of Jackie's performances. For your journey into Jackie's amazing talent, I wanted you to experience her performances from the Dream with me concert and the Music of the Movies concert. What you say is so true I saw her live in 2022 in Florida I was in the Orchestra pit front row there was times she was only 4ft from me. I’m a combat Vietnam Veteran been to hell and back. I was trying so hard to hold it together like you said her voice enters you heart and soul I have never experienced this before that night. I couldn’t hardly set still with the emotions I was feeling. When it was was over I said beautiful Jackie and when I said miss Kitty she turned and looked at me with the biggest smile 😃 it totally made my night. It took me 2 weeks to come down from her concert. Believe me I’ve seen 100’s of concerts in my 74 years and none of them made me feel like she did. Thanks for your kind words to Jackie Evancho.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have to say My wife and I enjoyed her on AGT in 2010 as well. In 2015 my wife ended up with a very bad illness and passed away. We did have 20 very good years together. Since we both loved Jackie's beautiful voice, and she made our life so much better, I was aloud to use the song "Your Love" from Jackie's album "Awakening" released on 9/19/2014 to be played at her funeral. She always sings the classical crossover favorites in her concerts with her standard encore, "O Mio Babbino Caro/Nessun dorma" medley. Her last recordings of classical songs were "Caruso" and "Attesa" on her Two Hearts album at age 16. Since then, contemporary Broadway songs on The Debut at age 18, followed by Joni Mitchell hits on Carousel of Time at age 22.

Shakes, I appreciate the respect you've given this angel by letting her performance (mostly) play uninterrupted by pauses and commentary. Jackie's voice ranks Top 3 All-Time on my list, with Babs and Karen. Everyone else is a tier or more below. And what a spectacular production this was! The drums, the strings, all topped off by Jackie's pristine instrument. Loved it, great reaction!

Sometimes a producer will create a spectacle to distract you from the main event. Other times, the spectacle is to SHOWCASE the main event. Which one is this?
All this for an 11 year old singer! ! Why? her level of performance is NOT that of an 11 year old, but rather beyond that of most seasoned professionals of ANY age! When listening to Jackie, dont''t waste time looking for a flaw - there won't be one, and all you'll accomplish is to cheat yourself out of a world class performance.

Whenshefirstappearedonthe music scene on AGT and people were astounded at her voice, ABC News went to a neurology professor at either Univ. of Pennsylvania or Penn State and asked him how she does it at that age. He told them that her brain works differently from other people in the coordination of thought to her vocal cords. In other words, she doesn't have to concentrate nearly as much on hitting the next note, it just happens.
I hope you are able to get things worked out so you can put up many more of her videos. Over the past almost 13 years now, she's gone on from just classical and branched out into movie themes, broadway show tunes, pop, country and now folk music. There's even a video out there of her in a club in NYC doing what I guess would be classified as grunge rock called "The Devil In Mary Jane".
Her pitch control became so good that hitting a jump note takes little effort [as in no extra effort] and rather than THINK about and FORCE a note, she can just casually FLOAT a note and let it take on it's own life from there.
Speaking of her jump notes [and vibrato], most singers jump to a high note WITH vibrato so as to disguise any slight misses. For instance One popular GOAT jumps with wide vibrato and then instantly narrows in. Jackie, however, can jump huge distances and hit the note solidly withOUT vibrato and THEN add vibrato. That takes courage and great precision.
Jackie has so many voices she reminds me of Frank Gorshen, a mimic who could do SERIOUS scenes and rip your heart out with his many voices, Jackie can do the same thing singing.
