One Night Nature Escape: Schuman Lake Camping Adventure

Join me on an unplanned Schuman #Lake Camping adventure, as I venture less than 2 hours away from #Edmonton to the beautiful Schuman Lake #Campground in #Alberta. This video captures my spontaneous decision to explore this picturesque area, where I spent just one unforgettable night immersed in nature's tranquility.
As I set off from Edmonton, I had no idea I would end up at Schuman Lake. This unexpected journey took me through three different campsites, including the stunning Holmes Crossing Public Land Use Zone, which I featured in a previous video. Each stop allowed me to scout different areas and connect with the breathtaking natural landscapes of Alberta.
Lucky me, this Alberta Campsite was totally free, a FCFS (First Come First Serve) as they call it, and I got there just a couple minutes after someone left. There are Garbage containers and a couple of Vault Toilettes by the Lake. The Lake is one of the many in Alberta stocked with Trout, having a limit of 5 fish to keep. Gotta say something here. I understand the nature and the idea behind stocking ponds and lakes, but I'm not sure that everyone does. Please people, just follow the rules, limits, regulations. Fishing licenses at not expensive at all. If you can drive yourself to the lake, have all the fishing equipment you have, and drink all the beer you do, you must have the money to pay for a license. Be responsible, so others can enjoy this activity too. Do not keep a million fish trapped on a net underwater, until you decide which are better to keep. If you keep fish that are too small, guess what...the lake will never have bigger fish, and it will be reducing its population year after year...just because your poor judgement decided to keep everything you caught. So please be a nice human being.
Not gonna jump into cleaning your camping spots before you leave, because I feel that's common sense, and it has been said too many times...but just so you know, because of how dirty people is at these free sites, is that now we have to pay a pass to use those sites...which is still very cheap if you go camping regularly....I'm talking 30 cad for the whole year...even at that price, there's people that think it's to much, and they prefer to be that guy. Just remember that this is for everyone, including your kids, so please, don't be an ahole.
