UK came to play. My Dawgs underestimated UK. Props to UK seriously y'all are a solid team and should have won 2 of the games y'all lost. Kentucky reminds me of how Us avid Georgia fans felt before last year. Caught Georgia thinking playoffs already. Good to get a reality check for these young kids. UK will be a contender soon. Their defense is top 10 in the country, just their offense has been inconsistent an special teams has been atrocious. They come out an play good some games an others the offense barely even shows up. They are literally 2 penalties away from being a 2 loss team coming into this game.

The Kentucky team that beat Florida in Gainesville, Came a bad penalty from beating ole miss in Oxford, an skull dragging Mississippi state showed up in this game. An for some crazy reason they didn't show up vs Vanderbilt last week, or vs Tennessee, or vs South Carolina. This is the Kentucky team that was expected all year, but inconsistency in terrible playcalling, KY WR calling out their OC an his playcalling an seems like it made a statement. People don't realize that Kentucky has the second best defense in the SEC behind only Georgia. An they both play similar styles in Controlling the TOP an long drives an execution. KY just have had an issue with something's on offense an not having a kicker to make an extra point to save his life has killed their season. If they played like this all year KY woulda been coming into this game undefeated.

@@slpguy6026 I mean when you rank top 15 in all defensive metric he has a point. Our offense has plenty of weapons, that much is obvious to anyone with a brain. Unfortunately, OC has hamstrung this team all year. As for the conference, we played 4 top 20 and two top 10 teams in that conference.

@@howo357 yeah but you know why?? It was because our offense couldn't sustain a drive. 3 an out over an over again. It kinda kills the defense. And plus they not only couldn't sustain a drive in that game they couldn't pick up a first down. An our kicking game been pathetic an couldn't punt the ball over 30 yards. So Tennessee got the ball basically in KY territory on the majority of their drives. It was an all system failure. Kentucky's defense is 1 of the best in the country, however the offense has been atrocious. An has played good in some games an terrible in others. They moved the ball vs Georgia in this game fairly easily. If they would have played offense like this all year they would be a 1 loss team at the most. 💯

I really don't understand this Kentucky team. They play Georgia likes it's the SEC Championship but can't get up and motivated to play other teams. Great defense and very physical. Should be at least 9-2 or 8-3 right now. The offensive strategy needs to change. Don't have to be explosive but need to open up the offense more. They will be a dangerous team every year.
They are pretty easy to figure out to me. They was motivated against UGA and also UGA style of play is better suited for Kentucky. It’s two teams that play power football. I agree Kentucky need to open the offense up a little but they have played this same style for 7-8 years so it shouldn’t be a surprise. They run the ball and play defense. That type of style want win every game unless you have top end talent like UGA or Alabama.
@@RonJP-pm7jp naw they haven't played the same offense the past two years, they changed up the offense last year when they brought in Liam Cohen as OC. Kentucky had a top 25 offense coming into this season an the new OC an O-line coach came in an it took a nose dive. They play good on offense some games, an others they don't even show up. Been like that all season. They averaged 33 PPG last year an if they could have managed to average atleast 25 PPG this year they would be a 1 loss team. Literally two penalties from being a two loss team right now with how atrocious the offense has been.

Kentucky has improved! Back when I went to school there (in the late 70's) we only went to games to party. The football program was so pathetic, we would taunt our own team by chanting, "up the middle, up the middle, up the middle, PUNT." Because that's all they ever did. Meanwhile, in '78 Kentucky won the NCAA basketball championship.

The offensive line has some work to do… #1 team doesn’t get to the 5-10 yard line & can’t punch it in for the TD, settle for 3, or worse on the one & get get it across the line, so turn over on downs, that’s embarrassing.
The Defense was not overly impressive either, people talking about how good the D was, not near enough pressure on UK QB, way to much time in the pocket for receivers to run an effective deep route, which brings me to the lackluster performance by the secondary, 2 on 1- several times & Kentucky still made the reception.

Whoes gonna take it? Ohio state only won by 13 to a worse team than Kentucky, Michigan barely won against Illinois and TCU got lucky as hell on their last second field goal again 4 loss Baylor. I agree UGA didn't perform as well as they should have, but the wind factor messed both teams passing game up, so when UGA was up by 16 with 10 minutes left, they decided to just keep running the clock out instead of adding on and possibly turning the ball over getting too fancy which would have put Kentucky back in it

On a kick off is pretty much the only time you can call for a fair catch, and yeah happens on opening kicks all the time. But why was the runner whistled down at the 4? He picked it up and ran, no one touched him... they said no fair catch... so why were we on the 4.

Chris Rod is one of the best backs in the SEC it’s some legit reasons why Kentucky is not as good but I don’t think the running back position is one of those reasons.

Michigan and TCU were lucky to win and the Ohio State and Maryland game wasn't decided till a late turnover. But these are nothing compared to what South Carolina did to Tennessee.
