Fly Fish Food - Sport
I tied and used this for the first time. It was the only fly that worked. Thanks
Thank you for saying beards are, "A pain in the butt." They are! It's nice to know others struggle too!
Try tying the throat hackle in first, forward of the eye
Pronunciation aside, great video. Nice clip on that beard: super clean cut! I thought the Diawl Bach required cheeks. Any thoughts?
It’s common but not required.
My number one nymph in the UK
I think it's pronounced "Dee OWL Bach" in Welsh, the "ch" in Bach is said the same way as the ch in "Loch Ness".
It is I speak Welsh and Diawl Bach means Little Devil the a in Bach is long as in "open wide and say ah" at the doctors when s/he wants to look down your throat Diawl = Devil Bach = Small
Funny and interesting.
Whhhip finished... "you're saying it weird"
Saying whwhat whwhich whwhat?
"Whiskey...Whiskey!......WHISKEEEY!!"
I dont think i pronounce it properly either but me and most other anglers i know pronounce it ‘die - all - back’ here in the UK. Its a welsh fly and apparently diawl bach means ‘little devil’ in welsh.
It means little devil in Welsh
SHEEEEESH 🔥🔥🔥
its pronounced like "dial back"
I think it's pronounced: "Diiiieee - wwwww - llll - eeee - bach" - which is Tasmanian for - "chironomid-like-fly."
