- NPP's Hopeson Adorye has been arrested by the Ghana police after Kwame Sefa Kayi called for his arrest for comments he made on Accra FM and various media houses for using dynamite to cause a scare in the Volta region in 2016 which led to low voter turnout and subsequently lead to John DramaniMahama and the NDC losing the elections to Akufo Addo and the NPP.
