having time to sit on it and someone pointed out to me and I agree with, that Clover KEPT ON attacking Qrow even after Tyrion got involved. Qrow WANTED to deal with Tyrion first, but Clover (probably believing Qrow was the bigger threat) kept interfering. Clover chose to interfere and attack Qrow, not Tyrian, twice. I think that Robyn's fierce loyalty of Mantle and Clover's focus on Qrow were more of a problem than any decisions Qrow made. I also like how Qrow was the last person out of the three to make the wrong decision. He tried to hold it off, then finally took that wrong step. Love it!
He's learning. Ruby is still a good influence on him. But it'd suck if he slips backwards after this.

Even if he friendship with clover was short I don’t really feel bad for clover at all in like oh that sucks but oh well time moves on as long as I get a good story I’m good with it
BOTH were problems. Either could have said “hey, the MASS MURDERER should be out priority” and dealt with each other after. Both of them are to blame, grown huntsman not able to put logic first.
Alley Oliver Qrow was attempting to do so but Clover was going toy soldier and wouldn’t let him. He sided with Tyrian only to try and get Clover to cut it out while being semi sure he wouldn’t be stabbed in the back while doing so. Qrow was the only one who seemed somewhat logical the whole fight

I feel like the last couple episodes did a really good job with the dilemma of being expected to follow bad orders. The Ace Ops clearly have a military background, which means they had it drilled into them that they must follow their commander's orders no matter what; team RWBY never had that, so they have an easier time drawing the line now that Ironwood's clearly gone off the deep end.
I just feel bad for Clover. He insists that he trusts Ironwood with his life, but doesn't know that Ironwood's already betrayed him.

Qrow was in an unfortunate situation. He turns himself in he basically giving up on family but to go against a member of the ace ops makes him and Atlas enemy.....also I needed that song in the RWBY fight like yesterday

I'm wondering whether Clover gave Tyrion that opening. That he saw none of the 3 fighters were willing to give up, or beat the other two, so "someone" had to take the fall.

What if this isn't Clover trying to rationalize what Ironwood is doing, but rather, admitting that he wasn't strong enough to do what he knew was right? He does, after all, encourage Qrow to go fucking murder Ironwood.
When the music started and Elm looked so shocked that they took dwon Vine. Like... that was the moment they realised that team RWBY's level had reached "pro"
The funny thing is, if all of the Aesopps were on the same wavelength that whole fight would have been different.

Cal saw Clover get stabbed, took a quick moment to reflect, and then was like "Alright, I've grieved". LOLOL
I feel like dude's gone thru this before, maybe not like this, but death of friends mid-combat, situations where there's no time to grieve. Plus, there's a definite desire for revenge in him now which is helping hold back the grief at least temporarily.

Tyrion and Qrow is the scariest team up ever!
Tyrion is a surprisingly competent support for Qrow. The whole time they're fighting together Tyrion is moving and re-positioning Qrow to be in a more advantageous position for the fight, whilst providing adequate front combat support to keep most of Clover's attention off of Qrow.
The one time Qrow actually found good luck, and his Bad Luck still f*cked him over.
Clover's aura broke, couldn't use his semblance to balance out Qrow's
Cal.exe has stopped working after clover got mcstabbed

I would say that Clover was dumb for trying to Qrow aftrer he saw that Tyrion broke out, but I don't care. Mostly because Qrow made the first stupid move inside the ship. Clover told Robyn that Qrow was under arrest and she's fine, she could talk to Ironwood after they get back, but she decided to attack him, Clover defended himself and grounded her, then Qrow attacks Clover even though it was obvious self defense and at that point Qrow should have used common sense and said, huh, lemme go with Clover and talk to Ironwood instead of fighting in an airship with a convicted felon under restraint....
Tbf, I thought he was talking not just about taiyang but also Ozpin when Qrow said he always fights with his friends
And Raven, and maybe Summer too, and possibly any number of his old, now dead (thanks to Lionheart) huntsman buddies

I feel like, rather than "debunking" or whatever, Clover's death scene if anything _reinforces_ the suggestion that there was romantic tension there. At the very least, Qrow's reaction feels a lot more than "oh shit my new pal died, AGAIN".
And this is why it’s important to remember that shipping and canon are two separate things. If you genuinely believe that characters that spoke like three times are “secretly gay for each other” with nothing to back it up then you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment

same, honestly would have quit the show if they did that, literally in no point in the show have they ever hinted at qrow even being slightly interested in dudes, would have felt so forced, like alot of things in movies and tv shows nowadays
@@patricktorres1292 well, now they've hinted at it, not everyone's openly gay and I don't think Qrow's that emotionally available period due to his semblance. He's sort of a most relationships probably end terribly type, so he probably usually does one-night stands as a rule if anything. Clover likely seemed like his first chance at anything deeper without consequences. That said, not everyone who's gay or bi openly flaunts the fact or gets the chance to, especially when watching over a group of teens fighting against an immortal enemy and spending half a season poisoned. Doesn't help that he's gone thru a lot, like learning about all his huntsman friends under Lionheart are dead probably didn't do him any favors or push him towards revealing his sexuality. That kind of development usually only happens when a character feels able and comfortable doing so.
