In this masters presentation, Dr Nozomi Watanabe and Dr Keiichi Ashikaga from the University of Miyazaki Faculty of Medicine, Japan, present the case of a 73-year-old female with palpitations and dyspnea on exertion. Although the degree of atrial MR was significant, they discussed the possibility of LA reverse remodeling after successful catheter ablation and referred her to catheter ablation.
