Yo guys,
its been a while. ^^'
Actually I didnt really think that this project would take me this much time - over 130 hours in total.
Im not 100% satisfied with it but for the first time learning / using 2 new programs (Blender and Adobe Premiere Pro) it turned out pretty good.
Also, I have a lot of problems with the copyright- and monetization of my projects lately, since the Original creators are claiming the songs even after I talked with them about everything. I have also been this kind of a person who listens to every commission that I get sent from artists via my business mail and also give a few of them the "chance" to feature them in my projects.
The big problem that I have with this "kindness" of me is that the majority of those people, who sent me their work and tell me I can use it copyrightfree, are immediately backstabbing me once the videos start to gain a high amount of views and claiming the videos so Im not able to gain revenue from the literally hundreds of hours I put into my hobby.
A lot of them are also not reachable or even block me everywhere so Im not able to get in contact with them anymore which is making me mad even more.
The same thing does also count for the MMV youre seeing right now - Im not able to gain any revenue out of it - again.
Because of that Im really questioning myself if putting that much of my free time and also health into creating this kind of massive projects is even worth the outcome [...]
Since Im not quite sure as of right now how to go on with everything I will take a break for the upcoming week, think about everything and then tell all of you the next steps of my channel via community post.

It really makes me mad, too hearing about that...they benefit from all the work put into the piece of art (which is literally what you created out of the raw material, in that case the og music). However all they know to do in the end is to abuse your creativity by claiming the money for sb else's work. Disgusting folks.

I have to thank you for sending me your remix back then, it really fits well with the ideas I had.
BUT I would really recommend you to get the rights by the original artists / labels before you send your work to content creators for promotion. The ones sharing your Remix in the end surely also want to have their good outcome of their work, in my case this goes to 0.

Have you ever thought of making your own anime and animated series for any company and stuff? I don't know, it's just that I look at your videos and the projects you do, they're so awesome. I wanna see more stuff of it in the future, as you're one of my favorite MMV makers ever :)
That is something that I also thought about for a while now, it would be great to work together with other people on bigger projects but the thing is that my skills in case of animation arent that good. I mean Im able to do the "basic things", but for more advanced stuff you need someone teaching you those things, and I dont know these kind of people atm. Looking up tutorials and similar is also not that big of help. For now, Im just going to try out new things on every project and see how it looks and also how people react to that. Maybe Im able to pull of everything I wanted to learn myself at some point, but that will take time - a lof of time.

I was so excited to see this. I was on a few of your streams, and your work is really amazing and inspiring. I read your pinned comment though, and you have the right to be mad. I think you should take legal actions with this, speaking how much time you put into it and not making any revenue out of it. Anyway, I hope you feel better about the situation and have it end well.
Unfortunately thats not how this business works. You can say how many hours you put into it but in the end the labels are always asking for a reason to unclaim / whitelist the video. And since the Remixer didnt have the rights in the first place this is a lost case. Of course I could try to reach out to all of the people involved (mostly labels, in this case "UMG") to help me, but as I experienced in the past, all of this is just taking so much time and in the end no one is willing to give you anything. The best case is always to have a person of a label or a license beforehand, which was also something I did not quite doublecheck since the remixer reached out to me. I will definetly try be more cautious in the future, even tho that Im never safe. I had artists / Remixers / labels claiming nearly all of my MMV's at some point or another and was not even able to restore 50% of the monetization of all of them [...]
@@GradNC the CZcams system of enforcing copyright unfortunately makes it really hard for artists like you who do edits and remixes. This song for example was probably picked up by the copyright bot CZcams runs Content ID and automatically given a claim without the label even knowing this video existed. Do your best to protect yourself with agreements although they won't stop Content ID claims and try to get paid upfront. Love your work!
