Story:
Komaeda and Izuru’s relationship is a bit complicated with how they constantly test each other’s luck by watching/putting the other in danger. When Komaeda falls, Izuru doesn’t do anything but watch how his luck will pull through.
Komaeda is so drunk on Izuru that this relationship fills him with thrill and excitement. This dangerous and scandalous relationship is worth it in the end if it means he can get closer to him.
Izuru isn’t open about his feelings but he grows jealous of Komaeda’s whereabouts and so and he constantly keeps tabs on his boyfriend by watching him.
Komaeda doesn’t need words. He knows how Izuru feels. That’s why when they meet, Komaeda wants less conversation time and more of touching his body.
This game of death started all because of Izuru, and Komaeda can’t have it any other way. He knew the moment he walked into that room and meeting Izuru Kamakura, his life would change forever.
Whose luck will overthrow the other?
This curiosity and drive are what makes Izuru possessive over Komaeda.
His luck is his for the taking.

Why choose between KamuKoma and KomaHina when you can just get the headcanon of Hajime being able to just kinda switch personalities like Toko. Which results in him having a constant identity crisis *and* in Nagito having a gay panic attack every other minute because he has two crushes for the price of one.
And if you prefer Izuru still being an edgy Rapunzel and Hajime having that hedgehog with protag antenna haircut there is another headcanon;
Out of VR Hajime’s hair is growing *pretty damn fast* which annoys the crap out of him, Izuru doesn’t care much or at least appears like he doesn’t, and so he has to cut his hair every other week because it grew to his knees already and gets everywhere.
And sometimes Hajime just gives up and ties it in a ponytail (seeing that, by the way, gives Komaeda the gay feels) and just lets it grow. Or there are weeks where Kamukura takes over their body more than Hajime and because he seems to not care for the hair problem at all he just lets it grow too.
So we get Hajime and Izuru with long hair, and Hajime and Izuru with short hair. Either way, Komaeda is dying in the corner, because short hair is cute (and very fluffy even though it doesn’t look like that and when Nagito found that out he again almost died of gayness) and long hair is dreamy (and still very soft and he wants to braid it but he’ll never say that he does because “How could trash like me even dream of touching his hair” even though he already did touch his hair)
And your crush-having-soft-hair-wise Hajime is kinda dying too, because Komaeda’s hair is the softest thing on earth and if you touch his hair even once you will never stop occasionally petting the lucky bastard because *he’s just so f-king soft*
And than, we get a sad ending, of Nagito dying because of his illness 🙃
Or if you want a happy ending, Izuru and Hajime were able to find a way to heal, or cure him.
