I found this at the Quaker Goes Deaf ... I miss that place, it was in Wicker Park. Chicago. We got Reckless Records just around the corner now and they do a pretty awesome job on the rock and roll deliverables. I had to go totally independent to find a guy like this. Years later, I still like listening to it.
They used to play "these days are old" on MuchMusic all the time. Good Canadian band, but why hasn't Spookey Reuben reached Matthew Good or Sarah Mclachlan's level of fame.
Great parody and clever satirical song and video..kind of unsettling, but I guess (hope) that's intentional.. I haven't had McD's since '98 and Wendy's since around ~'07...and don't intend to...Spookey's a very intelligent artist for sure.
