    The fact that people needs to pay to participate in a tryout is crazy. In Brazil, agents/agencies selects the players that they think have some potential, and invest in their carrear by giving some money to cover expenses and even paying flights to go back home when is summer or winter break.
    US have a lot of potential to develop great talents, but they are doing this wrong.

      Depends on what you want to work on! During off season however most pros will focus more on developing the physical side of the game(e.g. speed, strength, power, stamina) hope this helps!!

    Coach I'm down bad. I have mo footage to create a highlight video. Every team ive played for that's recorded my games, people, that recorded for someone else and have me in it and even trials I went to WILL NOT give me the footage. I've been askin these people for almost 2 years and still nothing. Lots of U.S school teams frequent my page and a couple agencies even reached out to me but nmeven though im known as being a very good baller, they said they can't tale any action bc they need a video to send out to any schools/clubs.
    I told myself that this year is my last yesr reaching for this dream. I'm 20 years old coach Javi, I think that's too old to be pushing for this and I have np evidence to back up my skill.
    Thanks a lot for your videos though. They still inspire me to keep pushing while I can and stay in shape.
    Love from Trinidad.

    My daughter is 7 and loves playing goalie and is pretty good at it as well no fear going after the ball.
    She is in here first year of club but it’s really expensive and she rarely gets any goalie training. I’m thinking next year I just let her play with the boys in co-ed rec and supplement with 1 hr private goalie training. Thoughts??
    My goal is for her to play multiple sports to see what she is best at. Hopefully get some type of college scholarship.

    • @iMadrid11
      @iMadrid11 Před 3 lety +5

      The draft is entirely an American sports invention. So professional team owners don’t have to pay for youth development.
      For the rest of the world Clubs pay for developing youth players. As a pathway to become future professionals. Potentially as candidates for promotion to the First Team.
