I think it was over when most of these guys stopped being influencers and they all just started training like they were real boxers so the result was just bad boxing events from people nobody knows. That and we never got the fights we actually cared about like Jake vs KSI while they teased it for years.

Simple. Jake moved on from influencer boxing, JJ hasn’t. Jake fought two Golden Gloves champions who won over 90 percent of their fights and demolished both in the first round. His right hand is a cannon and he is way faster and technically better. Not only that, the stylistic clash and the huge improvement of Jake since his Tommy Fury fight is gonna make things hard for KSI to even have a shot without hugging 76 times again.
KSI won't even fight the tougher influencer boxers so of course he won't fight Jake

The thing is to me if it was just Ksi and Jake in a room alone I guarantee they’d agree on a fight there and then but with everything else around it like managers, promotions and business people who are the ones holding it back with stupid bullshit

It’s at the point were I don’t think anyone really even cares about the fight. It’s been dragged out too long to the point where it’s lost the hype and also the story just doesn’t make sense anymore
Mr. Smile, while you are correct that weight is an issue for this fight now, negotiations weren’t an issue, as from my sources from both sides, the fight was ready in August 2024, but Jake declined despite his team pushing for the fight including Nakisa. It’s all on Jake’s mindset if he wants to make the fight, everybody else wants it including his team. If there was a blame for who’s “ducking” (even though I don’t believe duck is the right word) it would be Jake and not KSI. My Twitter includes the evidence for my claims.

Imo this fight has been dead since like 2021-2022. They prob did have talks after Jake beat Gib, but given covid kicked in and their teams and JJ and Jake themselfs wanted to put on the biggest even ever and wanted as big of a payday as possible it made sense to take the fight after covid. But i just think the fight died during covid. Jake kept fighting and did everything in his power to stay away from youtube boxing, so i dont understand why he should come back to that just to fight JJ which tbf is a fight in his favour. I just dont think the fight makes sense anymore nor do i think its worth watching

I think KSI just got really soft like he once had this big ego for boxing of I can take on anybody ill win It all and ever sense tommy beat him he just completely gave up and not only gave up but acted like a child about it he kicked the screen he was literally crying..but I'm assuming after him witnessing his own behavior he probably realized man..I don't take losses very well maybe I shouldn't box 🤣 and it's ironic because you would think jake would be the one to act more of a child of his loss to tommy but instead he handled it better
The bigger jake gets the more likely the fight won't happen.
