And when considering Larson over Stewart, consider Larson won the US Sprint car championship at Knoxville, and the very next day came third in a NASCAR road race. Stewart really doesn't have anything that varied in such a short space of time

Agreed. I think he is dirty in Cup but complains about other driving the same way. With that said, he has an insane amount of talent that no one can argue against. Being used to lots of power with little grip must feel good to have all the downforce and grip these cars. Put your foot down and go.

I have not watched Indy for years but I will not be missing it this year for my favorite driver, at any track on any surface, to pull off another great finish and hopefully a historic win. I hope his car is set up perfectly for him. Kyle getting the second fastest time during this video is very encouraging. The other drivers know now that he is a force to be dealt with and not just another nascar driver.

He almost did at the end of 2022, Red Bull was willing to let him take a test session in one of their cars. FIA refused to grant him a Super License even for a test, so by sanction body rules he was forbidden to even sit in an F1 car. They have yet to change their stance.

Just put him in it, he’ll drive the wheels off of it. He went dirt sprint car racing in 2020 and won 46 races, about half of all races entered, then 2021 wins a nascar championship.

Odds are the younger guys would like him, but he needs a car that’s competitive. If Andretti manage to break in, expect him to get tested. F1 is a development war, get him in a competitive car, and he’d win championships.

There are no other professional sanctioning bodies like Nascar that had cases that weigh twice as much with tires 2/3 the width, maybe ½ the width and the hardest professional racecars to drive. So to go from a cup car, another car with twice the grip, at a track that's he's raced on before with a car a lot harder to drive. But this is just my opinion.
