After a successful first design video last month, we're so excited to share the second video of our 2020 Mayesh Design Star Video Series! In this video, Anthony creates a foam-free dried hanging installation using a chicken wire base hung from the ceiling. Anthony reviews his technique on how to form the wire and then moves on how he likes to insert the stems to create the desired shape and movement.

I LOVE this installation! I'm curious to see a centerpiece that would match this? I'm an aspiring floral designer and would love to try this out! Is it possible to use the preserved florals with fresh florals that need water? Would I have to use a water pick for every fresh floral in a centerpiece?

Did you finish the back, or just leave the chicken wire frame? Also, it's hard to see white floral against a white background.
For an event, would you use water picks on the roses to keep them fresh
Yes, that is correct. Anytime you have an install using chicken wire, you would use water tubes for any products that may need a water source. Thanks for watching!!
DANIELLAellaellaAAA yes! :) I try to cut down environmental impact by reusing them as often as possible, for the video itself I decided not to use them as it wasn’t being made to last. :). I’ll touch base on this in future videos too! 💖💖💖
