Modified vs. Unmodified thinset - when to use each

In this video I explain what the differences are between modified and unmodified thinset. There are certain applications that require one or the other and if you don't use the right one, your tile, backer board or membrane application has a good chance of failing. I also give some tips to help you determine which type you will need to use for your project.
