This is a big stepping stone for me in my life because I am a former addict, and now am finally making something out of myself. Thanks for the videos man.
The biggest thing in my book is that based on people being so aggressive and so sensitive is basically kind of how they were brought up or their backround, or even stuff they've been through before and even like maybe they've been let down so many more times in such situations than so many other people where their just trying to do everything in their power just to try and get such people to give into them and not sure how to get stuff to change for them.

First off better to know where property lines are. Second, it is all up to your customer!!! Nothing for you or your workers to worry about. A neighbor comes up in your face, just say see my customer. That way everything is off your chest. Nothing to worry about. Getting in your face or worse, threaten to charge them with harassment. Not your business. Their problem is with the owner. I went through something like this. I said ,have a problem? See the owner. They told me to cut this way. I was completely out of the argument. Nobody can do anything to you unless your customer turns on you and says, I never told them that. Same if the neighbor calls the police on you. No problem. Not your business. And tell the police, to talk to your customer. I just do what they say. Off the hook! Do the same with other lawns this way. You can even leave while the police are there! The owner of the property you are cutting is responsible for where they want you to cut.
Ridiculous. Police won't do anything. This is a civil matter. If the city there gets called, they will inform the home owner, then they will inform you. All that stuff back there has nothing to do with you guys. I'd been like, here hold that thought and put my head phones on and went about my business.
Yea I’m 15 and me and my bud have our own little lawn business going and while we are cutting one of our clients a neighbor walks over and asked if we can cut her grass as well I said yea I can put you on the schedule but I can’t do it today and she said why I said ma’am I’m very busy today we have at least 17 more lawns to get to today then she says fine then I’m calling the city to shut this business down and I tried to calm her down but she was not having it so I started to Weed eat and she grabes my weed eater and threw it then I said stop that’s enough I tried to be nice and your not cooperating with me I said if you would like I can put you on tomorrow’s schedule if that’s okay and she said no today so I just stopped and started weed eating again and she left that’s was a crazy day but we only work Weekdays we wake up at 7 in the morning and get the day done with and thanks for the videos it really helps knowing another company that’s working hard every day

It sounds like your a busy boy grinding on the weekends after a long week at school. Good for you and keep it up But maybe you could hit a few houses after school during the week to lighten up your weekend work load so you dont have to start so early ...If my week flows into the weekend due to weather I never cut till after 10am.. People work hard during the week and some prefer to sleep in a bit on the weekends. Just remember being courteous it is a huge part of being a professional. By the way it sounds, you handled that woman perfectly and professionally and You dont want to work for that woman anyways even if she is paying you.. She sounds like the self entitled, bitter, angry, lonely type who will blame you for damage you never created only because she is bored and hates life. Keep away! I had that happen to me with a customer he fired me without even telling me and got another company. Then late summer like now he texted me a couple of days ago and asked me if I was still interested in cutting his grass. It was sort of the same thing and I never texted back.
I have a similar problem. I’ve been mowing over half of two vacant lots to keep it from making my place look bad and just to help out the older man that owns them. I’ve done this for probably 15 years and this man was my dads friend. Someone called the city on him and now he tells me not to set foot on his place again. I’ve mowed it for free and never complained all this time but I told him if it hits over 6” I’ll be the first one to call from now on and told him if he blows grass against my privacy fence he’s gonna hear about that to.
Why wouldn't a neighbor want privacy like what's there now? And isn't that fence property line? Unless he's worried about mosquitoes and ticks? Great on site video and new employee loyalty. Looks like it was a beautiful day there!
