Joe....if you want to have some fun tune the low E string up to G matching it to the G of the A string for a deep bass drone....so you don't have to cut it off like Keith does. Makes a great bass bottom.
Do you have any tips on how to steady the guitar when I place it on my leg it moves alot I hate that movement!

Can i ùse flatwound strings for slide maybe not so much slide noise just a thought

Yeh it’s fine, personally I prefer glass, but metal works
