girlyyy here is a tip for me with contacts bc i was a newbie a few months ago too. when putting them in, try to only focus with one eye(the eye you arent putting in the contact) and relax your face. for taking them out, i found it really easy to again, keep my face relaxed and move the contact downward so it isnt centered on my eye and it made it like 10000x easier for me to get them out. i also only pull down the bottom lid because whenevr i pulled the top lid, it made me blink so much. GOOD LUCK

omg putting in contacts was such a struggle for me too. I gave up after 3 hours at the eye doctor and said nope I’ll just wear glasses for life😂

It took me awhile to fold and put my clothes away & I did it finally Friday night but now I have more laundry to do it’s a never ending process. I enjoyed watching you put contacts in your eyes too funny 😅 I have to wear glasses for the rest of my life. My one eye is partly blind too so it’s better off to wear glasses for my case. girll i feel you with the contacts. It took me a solid like 2 months to get used to them in and out and it was hard because my eyes are hella sensitive too so i couldnt even get my finger near my eyeball because it was so bad. i promise it gets better over time fs. my tip is that just take it easy. for me, i try to relax my eyes and my face and try to lose focus with the eye im putting in the contact and only focus with the other eye if that makes any sense. GOOD LUCK! PROMISE IT GETS EASIER AND YOU WILL LOVE BEING ABLE TO SEE

when i first started wearing contacts (5th grade - i’m turning 18 wednesday) putting on contacts were SO HARD, it took me three days of coming back to try and get them in. that third day i FINALLY got them in and dude my first thought was “omg trees have texture??” 💀💀 anyways here’s a maybe tip? i cant put them in the way they teach you,, i taught myself to take them out with my pointer finger and thumb for both eyes. no switching fingers or whatever. maybe how they teach you to put them in changed 🤷♀️(edit: another tip is to grab your upper lid and pull it up high so it looks like you have no lashes and pull down your bottom lashes too so your eye is super big) your blink reflex also will get better the more you practice taking out and putting in contacts)

No exaggeration when I first got contacts it took me and hour to get them out never mind with nails. I also panicked I thought I couldn't get them out. Putting them in was the easiest part for me. But it comes with practice.

to take out your contacts i find it’s much easier to actually take your index finger and thumb and grab the edges and push your fingers in to basically grab your contact out instead of just one finger or a tool

i wear contacts and the first time i put them on it took me 30 mins
Honestly even after decades of wearing contacts I still have a hard time getting them off or on sometimes. It happens. 25min to get them off is better than a scratched eyeball.

i was the same way trying to put in contacts. i think having them sit there and watch you makes it a lot harder because once i got home, i got the hang of it way faster 🫶🏼 i open my eye using my left hand and then use my right hand to slide the contact in at the bottom before tapping the center into eye. it was too intimidating for me to try to tap it right into the middle of my eye
i take them out by sliding it DOWN towards the bottom of my eye rather than to the side. it usually just folds itself in half so i can slide it right out
