- The Trout Fishing Slam!!
In this video Andrew goes fly fishing for trout and catches 5 species in 1 creek! He caught a brown trout, brook trout, rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, and a cuttbow trout (hybrid between a rainbow and a cutthroat). It was an awesome day on a small creek fishing for some of the most beautiful fish in the world! Creek fishing doesn’t get much better.

Awesome! I had a similar day, but only 4 species this fall.. Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat and a totally shocking Greenback Cutthroat, was so pumped on that one! We fish similar areas, I'll share mine if you share yours.. haha

I love streams like that. It reminds me of my favorite stream in the Wind River watershed. But unfortunately I can no longer wade or even walk into a fishing spot- all my fishing is in a drift boat on, obviously, bigger rivers. It’s unfortunate there are Rainbows in that stream as it is likely it will easily breed with the cutthroat. Someone mentioned the Tiger trout ( brookie/brown), but it is extremely unlikely they will crossbreed in that stream. It would have been nice had you mentioned what variety of cutthroat you caught. But I did love the video

With brookies and browns in there start looking for species #6 - a wild tiger. Probably pretty rare but can happen.

@@manservanthecubus1963 sharing on a large public forum is called hotspotting. These little streams can only handle so much pressure. It is fine to share a larger river or well-known spot.
