As I was watching this scene for the first time, I hadn't really - not really fully - considered that they had so little time together. In the first episode when they show the 100 day count down, I remember thinking, "Oh my gosh that's not long - this is going to be interesting." But then as the story unfolded so beautifully and they fell in love so gracefully, it seemed like they would be together forever. They seemed to be living a whole life together in those 100 days. I had assumed that her last day would arrive with some huge scene - that they would be running together and fighting their destiny to try to stop it somehow. And then they spend their last day in the doomed world - and I didn't let myself believe it. They pray their final prayers in the cathedral - I didn't begin to understand. As she tells him she is sorry for loving him and he thanks her for loving him and they finally and fully say all that is in their hearts - I saw their love and nothing else. And then he says, "It's almost 12 o' clock. It's okay. Everything is okay." And 14 episodes worth of meaning and heartbroken despair crashed over me, and I just started sobbing. 💔💔💔💔💔
It's been a week and I'm still crying. The only thing I remember saying during this scene was "don't disappear, please don't no please don't go". I repeat that line over and over while crying my eyes out. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The contract was that for 3 months he won't let her feel pain and when she will die she will ask him to destroy the world ! But if she doesn't ask for the world to end then the contract will be invalid and in place of her someone she loves the most will die in place of her ( in order to cause her pain for voilating the contract ) that's why he said the contract is invalid and that's why he disappeared ! I hope you get it now !
