I just got my cricup, why do I feel overwhelmed. So intimidating... does anyone else felt or feel like this? I don't have a computer, but I do have a tablet and a Samsung notebook phone. Can I use that instead of a computer?
Yes, I have a tablet and i just got me cricut and you need to use bluetooth. Just look in CZcams on how to do it. I'm kinda scared to use mine because my mom said she lost the receipt and I dont want to ruin it.
Hey Evelyn and Angy! Yes you can use the mobile app and the very best thing you can do for yourself is jump in. If you are cutting cardstock and adhesive vinyl, you (virtually) cannot break the machine. A few bad cuts will be just a drop in the bucket to all the awesomeness you will learn! ---Becky

I just got my explore air 2 and it is very intimidating and confusing with all the different materials to get ...I have been trying to watch videos but it is so overwhelming and idk if I need a printer on top of my machine since it seems like the design space can do whatever you want

I have to agree with Evelyn. Feeling totally out of my depth. I'm an older lady and computers are not at the top of my easy peasy list. I think I would have felt a great deal more comfortable with a written instruction book as well as these videos. So glad I found this otherwise I might have ended up with a very expensive space taker. Still lots of things that make no sense to me. Hoping it gets clearer.

Great tutorial, I just got one for my birthday.
Oh! You got the same bundle I did. I made a couple of fun things with that embossed paper. It's double sided so you can make an envelope with the embossed part on the inside (to match a card!) and I made boxes for coasters. I've only had it about a month and I really love it. Enjoy! Super purchase!! I never got so many items with my EA2.
1st tip is valuable. I bought one from Walmart. Noticed it leaked something out of box. Opened it up it was full of hair and something spilled all inside it. I sat all night waiting on 6am to return it worried to death. Exchanged for one the blade wasnt round and destroyed.
You are the first person with common sense to explain this machine .... lol.
I am trying to see if this machine will do what is needed for our business instead of outsourcing the work.
This looks like something I could also get a lot of home use out of (my OCD is thinking of all the thinks I could make labels large enough for us seniors to read). I might also be able to make some customized gifts for the grandkids and others.

Omg! I been watching a lot of videos my son gave me for Xmas a cricut explorer 2 I am super excited it's an upgrade to my cricut expression. My only concerns are that I am not very good with computers and that I have a lot of cartridges that I love. My Explore Air 2 came in yesterday and my Everything bundle came today. I really wanted the Dark pink but ordered the Lilac. I bought the everything bundle becausevI couldn't pass up the $279 bundle deal.

My Explore Air 2 is Boysenberry! Love purple. I didnt get all those cool materials. Just a couple small pieces of card stock. No weeding tools or anything else

Hey Grammy! You should have an icon on the left side of your Canvas that says Text. You will just type the text that you want and then you can change the font using the toolbar at the top of your screen (I do this after typing my text). Hope this helps! ---Becky

Congrats on the new Cricut! There are different packages at different times, both seasonally and then based on retailer. I wouldn't worry too much about the extras in my bundle, most of the time you get a better deal and better quality materials buying the machine individually and then visiting your local vinyl store (if you have one) as they are usually a tremendous help in choosing beginner materials. Hey Sara! You're going to need a laser printer to be able to engrave on silicone from what I understand. As far as a vinyl transfer, the Explore Air 2 is great for those! Hope this helps! ---Becky

Don't worry, most bundles come with extras that you don't really need. I personally recommend beginners to start with Oracal 651 adhesive vinyl as it's usually inexpensive and easy to use. Hope this helps! ---Becky

Hey Kelly! I am so envious, I wanted the pink one but the mint one matched my decor better (where are my priorities?!). The cartridge insert is for the old-style cartridges for older machines, so it's mainly for crafters who are upgrading but still have a collection of cartridges they want to use.
