I sort a like some of the characters development in this game, Henry from a dumbass kid to a brave young man, Capon from a deuchebag Noble to a less deuchebag Noble, Bernard and Robard from having doubts in Henry to a Prideful Mentor of Henry, Sir Radzig from a wise master to a wise father

If anyone is wondering how long this game takes to be, for me, doing most of the side quests, it took 131 hours. However, I'm sure on a second play through, where I actually know what I'm doing it will take far less time than that. I thought it was an amazing game, and I would definitely recommend that you buy it.

@@lasyanka7821 probably wont happen. Next game will be more about the story. Though new weapons is probably gonna be added so you might have to learn some others if you want to. They may even let you craft stuff so that will be a skill you need to learn more about atleast since Henry was only an Apprentice.
@@svampen7782 maybe this time they will add the possibility to raise the skills from 20 to 40, learn how to swim, write poems, participate in tournaments on horses with lances. I can't wait!

This was actually a nice ending but DLC confirmed right? There is still going to be a battle on the field against Sigismund and rescue his drunk brother
co-founder Daniel Vávra confirmed that the team is already working on a DLC questline where it will be possible to play as a woman. Additionally, it’s been confirmed that the team is planning to support the game for quite some time.
Maybe they will continue the ending in DLC or maybe they will just wait for Kingdom Come 2
Yeah, originally the game was supposed to be divided into 3 acts, this one is the first act and the second is supposed to be release 9 months later. I don't know if those plans are still true.
I really hope that it's still in progress , this game is probably the best Late Medieval game I have ever seen , the story is amazing and if I could sum it up in one word it would be Skyrim. The combat is very realistic and there were tweaks made because of how realistic the game was, they had to make certain NPC's invulnerable because they could've wandered off and died.
In the end side of the quests the quest marks turn from red to blue so they might indicate the act 1 and 2 and the revenge quest that cant be done has a green quest mark so act 3 pretty much confirmed

Mathew Culver I’m afraid Radzig originally planned to abandon Henry and leave him to Martin. You can tell because when Radzig said “Of course, I’ve always kept an eye on you. That you can be certain.”, you can see him been a bit uneasy, suggesting that he is lying.
The game was at the base level a story of Henry finding deliverance at that's what happened by the end. He found forgiveness for his guilt of not being able to save his father and he found another father in the process. It was never really about the sword, the sword represented his father. In his dream he forgave himself and became a stronger person. His conversation with Radzig further makes the point that vengeance should not be his driving force. In other words both of his fathers allow him to forgive himself. I really liked the ending of the game, it was realistic. Henry is a normal man and he failed to do many things like a real man would, but in the end he became a better person and came to terms with the death of his mother and father. The ending leaves more content for the future and gives us a good complete character story of Henry. I would never call this an unfinished game, there is easily over 100 hours of content here. Good video but I dont agree at all that the ending of the game had no conclusion. I think the ending was perfect and bitter sweet, just like Henry's life.

The moment Lord Capon goes after the Ishtvan - is it the sneaky guy pursuing justice? Well, it was more like hunt game to him but still..
And the way Ratzig is just there, in field, walking fabulously..The devs really did a good job on something you cannot program - a mood.
The combat system is goddamn realistic it literally takes hours to master swordsmanship
I believe that's also why many didn't like the game. I enjoyed the combat and got really good at it in couple days. Anyways rip the game wasn't successful and there will never be part2.

@@victuz well I would prefer quality graphics over large scale battles. In a battle you dont pay attention to more than 5 peopel anyway. There would be some hundreds of enemies behind corner fighting that yo udont even see draining your CPU. Think about that again if that makes sense.

I think in the next game there will be more skills to master. I would really like if they add the blacksmithing skill and I hope they make it like the alchemy skill. I loved to brew several potion manually. Like there was so much immersion in it.

I was very disappointed that this was the ending. I wanted to kill Istvan. I wanted that sword back. I wanted more battles, more sieges both assault AND defense. I wanted to fight Markvart. There were so many things I wanted to do but this game ends when it truly begins.

I have though about couple of other scenarios the game could have ended my favorite and probably the dumbest is where henry ends up being trapped in the talmberg castle instead of radzig and is immediately surrounded by Istvan and his bandits henry calls out Istvan for a duel and he accepts henry kills him and gets his sword back when istvan dies his men don’t have a leader anymore and a lot of bandits know henry from skalitz and other places and after giving out a good speech the bandits split into two sides ones who stand with henry and ones that don’t a battle breaks out and henry manages to win the gates open and there is an epic cutscene of henry coming out of the battlefield covered in blood and with radzigs sword after that the nobles don’t want to hang or imprison the bandits because after all they helped take back talmberg so they offer them to join the garrison and serve the lords but they deny saying that they will only follow henry and that he is the only person who would lead them and after a lot of thinking the lords decide to form a small warband of mercenaries in order to clear the lords lands from bandits and they choose henry to lead them and after the warband hunts down the bandits and cumans henry will be knighted as a reward. this is probably the longest comment that I have ever written on a video in my life and I know it’s very dumb and shitty but people shouldn’t judge each other because of what they like.
Such a great game I enjoyed every minute of it hope warhorse studios would continue this series with a sequel

i rushed the main story when the game first came out, played little to none side content.
played second playthrough when they added hardcore mode.
oh man what a blast, i did not touch main quest at all until i could not find any side quests to do anymore.
What will happen in the ending if henry only killed Runt?
There will be DLC, it's like a must for it. But with a game like this the DLC is actually worth it and not just like important parts taken form the main game in order to sell double or triple the money for less work.
So we could experience such an adventure cuz a man was stubborn enough to forget about his lost sword .
i’ve completed this game 3 times, twice on pc and once in ps5 and i will probably do it again, hoping they announce a sequel soon

Another place this game comes short... once you're done with her quest you can't even talk to her about anything other than skalitz. She doesn't call you her boyfriend or anything of the like either, just disappointing

It is suppose to be on top of a helm but in cutscenes it hides the helm but not the circle thing.
What i cant believe this is the end, i didn't even get a chance to kill that bastard, i dressed well, repaired items, was ready for big fight and that was the end. Took me only 40 hours...

I disagree hardly. I really got invested in the story and it's characters, including Henry.
It's a very fun game, but in its current state it is not worth buying at full price. It's too buggy, which would be bearable if the save system didn't exacerbate the flaws.
I've had my saves erased at least three times, with the worst one setting me back four hours of progress.
My suggestion is to wait on a sale, or borrow.

Nobles (most of the time men) fucked with commoners all the time (often with the common person not really having a choice), for example just like how hans carpon has his fun in the bathing house

he is not a noble he is a noble's bastard meaning that no one would really care if he married a commoner
his father, radzig could legitimize him if he wanted, or at least heighten his status, giving him some inheritance and social status with it, it really does seem to me that radzig cares about henry enough to legitimize him as much as he's able to, it's also hinted with the soothsayer that theresa isn't his final romance or who he'll marry considering the soothsayer said something about a woman named katarina (at least in my game, it may be random but who knows), anyways it would be cool if that was foreshadowing to the next game or dlc though

they is more you have to ride out with capon east of Neurof to end it plus get the end gold trophy that"s why i left stuff to do then ride of after all was complete with the side missions plus all my skills maxed out did you you know after the assault on talemberg you can revisit the monestry and speak to konrad keyser about that trebuchet and if you revisit theresa she chats with henry about him being a noble and will he still have feelings for her
I don’t know if they’ll fix this, but if you’re having trouble with the game it can be considerably easier if you train Henry with "Horse Sensei".
SPOILERS? Kinda?
In the first quest entitled “Run” you can actually not run and instead run away from the dude chasing you. Turn right at the first opportunity and you’ll see a bunch of soldiers running in formation and a horse or two. You can steal and ride these horses. This next part is kinda difficult; Take out the sword, steal a horse make sure you sprint with the horse and kill the soldiers by running back and forth and stabbing them like a lancer. With the added speed of the horse you stole, they will die easier and after killing them all you can use their equipment. After there are no more threats, kill all the horses you see except for one named Olena and you can gain an incredible saddle by killing all the other horses. This saddle will give you a lot of horse storage.
Remember Olena the named horse that you didn't kill? You can equip her with the new awesome saddle and load her up with a lot of dead soldier equipment and horse meat. Get through all of this and then you'll find there's nothing left to kill but there will be a horse near the exit point of this event area. This is important - don't ignore the horse, and don't run past it. This is the Baker's mire and the horse you were originally supposed to take out of this event area. I like to call this horse "Horse Sensei", because he can train you.
This magnificent, benevolent and incredibly powerful immortal being can let you just keep stabbing him with your mortal sword and baby arms without a neigh of complaint. Horse Sensei AKA Baker's mire is an event npc, and therefore important to the continuation to the game, it is - I'm guessing a fail-safe so you can advance to the next area with a horse as the next area requires you to run away from mounted soldiers. When you hit Horse Sensei he might get annoyed that's when you mount him to calm him down. I recommend you get the perks that make you stab faster. This way you can max out vitality, overall level, hunting, warfare, strength and dexterity all the way up to 20 and max out whatever weapon fighting style you have. Don’t punch him though for some reason he kept falling down when I tried that, anyway after Horse Sensei has trained you with his mystic equestrian fighting style don’t mount him or run on foot towards the quest marker. Mount Olena the horse containing all your loot instead and you will use her in the next scene.
Funny thing here is if you run on foot or use baker's mire the horse will just limp constantly during the chase, presumably from all the damage it accumulated when taking on your sword stabby attacks for 20 minutes straight. With Olena you'll have a fresh and unhurt mare to make a clean get away, now no longer possessing the strength and vitality of a new born infant and with large saddles full of meat and equipment. You will however still lack combat skills that are learned through events later so it’s best to just run on to the next part. The constant stabbing part of this strategy takes about 20 minutes, during which you can read a book or something, but more likely you will be watching CZcams, anyways good luck.
EDIT: Where is Olena after "Homecoming"?!
I forget the names of the towns, but the town or keep that you end up after "Run" event will still have Olena the beautiful mare, tied up with the other horses in a stable. You can use her still. Later after the “Homecoming” event, during which you tell Olena to “Stay Here” and watch the intro you can still find her. She will be outside of that keep that you had first run to. Sorry don’t remember the name of the place. She’ll still have all your stuff.
I found Olena after searching a lot but she was on the road north of the keep near a road sign. By this point I had another horse, so I had to kill her and take all the stuff back. There was around 6k worth of stuff to sell to the merchants. Most importantly I got the four-bagged saddle that adds like 350 lbs. storage from the "Run" even back, all that extra storage helps a lot. After getting all my stuff back it is safe to say i had no problem taking out any soldiers with the addition of being able to counter and dodge, it's worth to go back to the earlier areas and go in places you couldn't before I got an excellent sword from near the "Run" event it did a ton of damage I forget the name of it.

+Nana Neet, it's Sensei you should thank otherwise this game is slightly annoying when your arms are basically the equivalent of wet pool noodles. I mean it stings but you can't really kill with those.
The really sad thing? Admittedly, I don't know much about Czech history but from what I've managed to gather, things turn out poorly for every (historical) character you care about in this game.
(A) Your side loses the war but King Sigismund still screws things up in the ensuing peace, so you don't even get the cold comfort of being able to say "Well, at least the best man won"
(B) About ten years after the end of the game, Radzig and Hans Capon end up on opposite sides of the Hussite War.
(C) During said war Radzig will be torn apart by rioting peasants; Hanush dies the same year while Divish died the year before that. Hans dies young only 3 years later.
(D) Keeping in mind how much this story pushes realism, what do you think Henry's chances are at having a long and happy life with all the above happening to his patrons, friends and allies? In any realistic setting I don't think they're good.
The thing is, when all these character dies, it's at a much later point in history, lots of years passes by...
It's very much possible to have a sequel where you play as a different character, where Henry is just a unknown mercenary maybe?
And then you can unravel the story as to how Henry got to where he did, and probably even witness his end.
The important thing is that Henry's story is mostly over in some form, he's a fictional character so to speak that doesn't exist in history, hence he's a bastard son of a lord.

In the next one we'll fight the guy that killed Henry's parents and the guy that took our sword; then the big final boss of the series will be the warmongering king in the third game

Димитри Yea but that doesn't neceserally affect the world history, Sir Radzig and the others are very minor players in the wars in real life so it wouldn't be a problem if such characters like Henry were created, whilst the op is asking for something that completely changes the whole landscape of the real life war.
I almost made it to the end. But when I was doing the many (many) chores to the final siege, I came to the point where I had to get a healer for Divish. So I went to the monastery to summon the healer wich ended in, you guessed it, more boring chores. There I had to help the wounded from Skalitz. But I already came this far so I did them. All until the point where I was about to correct some dude's broken leg. For some reason, the trigger to do it was on an empty bed, but I didn't mind. Henry did though, and so he started to slowly walk to the middle of the room, look at the floor and quit moving whatsoever. No escape button, no inventory, no nothing available for me to make him stop. After waiting for 15 minutes I ralized that I had to restart the game. Upon loading my last save file I came to the realization that I didn't save for 3 hours and all the boring stuff I did was gone. I didn't save since there was not a single fight or dire situation in those 3 hours that needed prior saving, only gatting from A to B, tell X to bring Y to the camp over and over again. For me, that was the final straw. I lost all my motivation to finish the game.
Don't get me wrong, the game had some striking moments. One of my best memories is, when at the very beginning, when you get to the mill you start your career as a thief. The one where you need to steal the ring from the grave-digger was incredibly athmospheric: I scouted the farm, killed the dogs, waited for the guy to go to sleep, then strangled him because he was said to be a badass and I was afraid of tanking him head on. I felt that the game gave me the opportunity to my own approaches on quests. Sadly it was so buggy that all of Rattay hated me for killing the grave-digger even though there were no witnesses. Same with nearly every illegal activity. Stealth doesn't work. You don't get arrested if they don't catch you breaking in or stealth killing, but their 'collective conciosness' allways knows you are bad news. This is really immersion breaking for me and that's bad for a game that's biggest selling point was supposed to be immersion.
Allmost forgot, there also are no large scale battles. Only little skirmishes with terrible AI.

the game has indeed many ups and sadly a bunch of downs, without the mods and tweaks the game will be unfinished for me for sure, i decided to finish yesterday, so close to the ending, all the side-quest done etc, it was only the main quest left after the siege in Vranik and man, what a bunch of tasks.. it was almost 5 HOURS to end, holy f***, i enjoyed the game but seriously, i will take a long brake, maybe return when all the dlcs is released to play them.
Completely understand why you gave up it's a good game but it is really extra and some of the quests are just so boring with no reward but it does have its positives I just wished it developed the relationships further like you can have sex but nothing happens no relationship no kids or whatever

Yeah let's not for this game's budget is $8 million while TW3 is 10× than that.
It was closer to 35 million with marketing but deep sliver cover that cost
35 milion was just a rumour, it was something like 500 milion CZK, which is like 20 milion dollars.
And all that, apart from Kickstarter campaign, came from private investor, our local bilionare.
Deep Silver haven't invested anything or just small fraction. They made this deal so devs at Warhorse will keep every rights to this IP and have more creative freedom.

There is still another chapter to be released. Not sure if it will be DLC or a new game. we will just have to wait.
So basically ur left with one main quest and going around in circles because every time you complete it, it just throws you back. Also can you not retrieve the Sword 🗡????
In my Quest log it still says “Find Markvart” that’s the one who attacked Skalitz, can I not find and kill him either

Ben McCormack the game developers said that they were going to make the game from three acts, but they didnt have enough time to make the last act. In the end side of the game the quest marks turned from red to blue, so they might present the first and second act. And the revenge quest has a green quest mark, so it might mean the third act. So the third act might be released probably as a free dlc for everyone to continue the story
