More details have been shared on this. Suga said that Psy originally didn't like the song he sent him very much. So That That is the product of many back and forths with each of them editing and sending it to each other over and over. Suga said he may release the original at some point since it's very different to what this project ended up with. Psy is very particular about things, so I'm curious to see how much it changed.

I love the stuff PSY makes because it reminds me of simpler things and simpler times, they just carry just a sense of pure unbridled energy and fun. I still remember laughing as a kid when I saw him dancing with a giant noodle in the gentleman music video, truly a legend.

But seriously, it's hilarious that PSY wrangled Yoongi into producing, then writing his own lyrics/featuring, then being in the video w/some serious choreography. Yoongi said it was like "working with a childhood friend" and he "didn't expect to be dancing with PSY...thought [I] was only writing a song" but slowly PSY got Yoongi involved in every step [insert devious PSY laughter - no seriously, it's in the interview]. Finally I wanted to say I've been waiting for Psys comeback for ages and if it wasn't for him ba k in 2012 I would've not gotten into kpop.
Secondly I love how he worked along with yoongi and got him not only produce but also to be in the MV but to also dance aswell.
Yoongi id my all time fav rapper in the entire music industry and someone I can truly relate too.
Thirdly I am in love with the cowboy concept and vibe of the MV and I have always loved the wild west vibe.
The whole choreo is just like Psy (if you seen his earlier qork you will k ow what I mean) the beat is upbeat and just makes me want to get up and dance along and another thing "that that" chorus is just so catchy as it has been stuck In my head since I first heard it in the teasers.
