12 years old, when I saw this video, I saw a whole world. I can't put it into words. 12 years ago, when I was a child I did not even suspect the existence of all the beautiful things shown in this video. Skydiving, surfing, dirtbikes, skiing, snowboarding, how beautiful our planet is when you look outside of your habitat. And now 12 years later, I can say that I've done half of the activities shown there.
This video didn't just show me the capabilities of the GoPro 2, it showed me a life, a world, a dream. Thank you very much. I will always be faithful to GoPro.

I was 17-18 when this dropped🫠. Times and internet were so much better. So much things we now take for granted. These gopro montages would always leave you in chills.
This video and the hero 3 video has inspired me so many time. The music, the Edeting the pure soul you can find in this videos. I wish GoPro will find it again. I miss the inspirational you get from there beginning work.

Almost 12 years later and still one of my favorite Gopro videos. I bought the Hero 2 for the epic slo mo only to be broken hearted to discover that was all Twixtor. Still awesome though!

Honestly, best gopro ad I've ever seen! I remember watching this in 11th grade when this was uploaded and was blown away by the quality, and as a former Akaso V50 Pro owner I'm gonna say it took the cheap market 7 years to catch up to the Hero 2

anyone who owns a gopro knows its impossible to get nearly this good quality. I use premiere pro and nothing seems to look clear compared to this. Also if you watch any gopro video from someone who isn't a proffesional editor you would see how bad the helmet camera footage comes out for bmx and skateboard.

You're doing something wrong then. It cost me 5 years after watching this vid to be able to take vids like this. It's all about your gopro settings, composition and time of the day to get that perfect colors. Get some good stabilizers and practice practice practice
So your colors are looking realistic and that's the most important thing. If you want to make your footage look warmer don't use color grading especially not when you capture snow. Yes, color grading can help you out but i think you noticed already if you are trying get colored jackets more saturated the snow loses it's white color. In good cinematography it's a rule, you want to keep it realistic! So you have to manually setup your camera in every situation you use it to get the most out of it. Auto settings are ok, but manual settings are a must if you want to improve the colors in your footage. If you want to get into it search for: manual settings for your gopro or something on YT. The main thing is your stabilisation and that was my main problem too. The footage on the stick looks pretty stable but the footage with the chest mount (what i think it is) isn't. That's because your jacket moves and that's normal. I really recommend the Feiyu WG2 Wearable, it's small, steady and compatible with most Gopro accessoires. Maybe you could add a storyline too, it doesnt have to be complicated but maybe just a timelapse as your opening shot. But i have to say it's way better than my first gopro footage. You did a good job, but even the best are getting better everyday!
