How I make R30 000 a month with AirBnB in South Africa

To make money through property, you do not need to own any properties. All you need is control over the property and you could be making money using Airbnb.
We also rented out a student accommodation property over December to make R30 000!!
In this episode I speak to Karen Fraser who runs and owns the company Smart Stay Pro. In this company Karen host guests from all over the world on her properties via AirBnb and not only does she host, she also teaches other people who are keen to learn how to host professionally and make money. I attended her training a while ago and it was educational and fun. As a team we took action and we have made some money out of letting out AirBnB properties in Cape Town.
Karen started off her journey in commercial property management and later moved on to work for big retailers before the property bug got her. She specialises in AirBnb and own her properties where she hots guests and also rents out other properties to ensure her overflow is well managed. The demand is high that she even manages other people's AirBnB and make money.
I personal like the way Karen runs her business, a solid hybrid of ownership and rent to rent, thus increasing her cash flow. I think in this day and age, having access to certain assets and making money is the in thing. Think of Uber and AirBnB itself.....This is what I call SMART! BOOM!

Interesting story. I recently listed my first property on Airbnb (March 26, 2021) and I'm really excited for the journey ahead. Totally fulfilling experience so I can relate to Karen's story. Hosted my first guests two days after listing - I was ready but I wasn't really ready. I'll never forget the nerves I had on that weekend - longest weekend of my life. I kept checking my phone just in case.
