● Know where your hurricane shelter is located and ensure that it is accessible to you.
● Have an emergency kit ready, including your medications, important documents like your ID, and any
equipment you may need.
● Have your emergency contacts on hand, including your District Emergency Organization number.
● Stay connected to the news from official sources.
