  • Over the past years, Bhutan has faced rapid temperature changes, leading to extreme rainfall in summers and longer droughts in winters. Our farmers are losing crops to flash floods, wind storms, and hail storms, causing massive heartbreak and loss. With increasing temperatures, pests infestations are rising, further impacting food production and security.
In response, the National Adaptation Plan includes measures such as enhancing water use efficiency, sustainable land management, and planting climate-resilient crops. By supporting these initiatives, we can help our farmers thrive in the face of climate change.
