I discovered your channel years ago studying for PSY 101. Now I'm training to be an interpreter, and here we go again! I've always admired the cognitive abilities of people performing certain things, and simultaneous interpreting is definitely one of them. I feel as if it has a lot to do with working memory. You've cleared that we can't increase our ability to handle more cognitive load, but there must be ways to at least use it efficiently. Your video was very insightful as always. Thanks for keeping our enthusiasm for psychology alive!

I hope my videos were helpful in the past and can continue to be. You're asking exactly the right questions and I'll be talking about expertise and how experts learn to use working memory more efficiently in the next video. Thanks for commenting!

I wish there was a go fund me for you to gain donations towards purchasing a Learning Glass. It would work so well with what you are doing in these videos.

I hadn't heard of Learning Glass before, it does look like it would allow a very similar approach to what I do.
