It's the end of 2019 and we are still waiting for her to show samba bounce, flair, rhythm. Anything resembling musicality. Ugh!

@@lanerope4482 True. Because they are at the top there is no incentive for them to improve the dance quality of their performance. He travels across the dance floor prompting her, sometimes dragging her in the directions he wants her to go, they don't move in unison. I think it also adds to them looking so disconnected.
Deb C . So many WDSF couples are like this though. There seems to be a lack of understanding of basic principles of dance, with an over emphasis on “wow” factor and gimmicky choreography. I believe when you ignore technique and rhythm, then there’s only one way to go ... it ends up like this and will ultimately look worse as time moves forward . 🤷♂️

It's still WDSF and still not real Samba. But she definitely improved in her technique and I like her personality which is quite ladylike.
Get only distracted by the fact that the man moves his butt more than the women here...

@@assadasd7833 Clean is not a characteristic of Samba. Does not have a chance comparing bounce action, musicality and connection against most WDC couples
thomst, coz it's clearly not what wdsf appreciates.. there are wdsf couples better than wdc couples(even in professional) in terms of musicality, connection, and technique but do not get high placements in major wdsf comps.. several wdc couples used to dance in wdsf but moved out for the same reason

I don't think they are a fair representation of WDSF as a whole. Having dance both WDC and WDSF I find there are more different styles of samba in WDSF than WDC and only very few has a style like Tsaturyan and Gudyno. I don't prefer one federation over the other and I not a fan of Tsaturyan and Gudyno.

I find her quite robotic
They are a great example of how Samba has been flattened out and lost true bounce and rhythm and character. All to make way for travel and dynamic movement and athleticism. and to add insult to injury I see precious little chemistry between them. Too factory made for me.
lol, compare to other couples, they are the best. you should see them in real time, they are just amazing
loloshka sadasd. In my comment I at least offered a reason why this couples dancing doesn't turn my light on. Perhaps you might tell me why you think they are amazing. And please don't say things like their speed, and precision, and dynamic movement. That would be describing an athlete not a dancer. Speak to me about authentic, SOFT Samba actions, rhymical movements and actions being reflective not only of the timing but crucially also the rhythm of the music, sincere connection to partner. They have physical ability to burn. Its the musical and artistic dance components I fail to see in them. If one likes this very ultra high energy, over engineered, Latin dancing with near zero spontaneity, that's wonderful because that's what I feel this couple offer. Perhaps you can help me see it differently. Try me.
@@joetesta3352 All true but they still look way better than the rest in this devision. This style of dancing has been the trend for a while now. One can argue that the word "sport" in dance sport requires them to be athletes. I am all for individual artistic dancing with better musicality but this is not what's awarded.

looshka sadasd. For you and many others that is indeed so. For me and many others their style doesn't appeal at all. It all comes down to individual tastes, but reading many comments, here and elsewhere its hard to argue that they are a very polarising couple. One is either a fan or they're not. There's not much in between it seems.. Again thanks for your non explanation I learnt alot.
Her routine part is quite boring and has not much Samba flair.... (!)
