Command insertion is pretty much the only want you could reasonably get. If you could do the other missions you are probably already winning. Though you could build around some of the secret missions. Like war of attrition with a falcon and some corsairs it would be expensive but then you don't need to make a wayleaper your warlord or keep them off board.
The idea is to make it hard for your opponent to guess which one you are going for. Command insertion could be easy to stop if your opponent knows you are going for it
war of attrition could be really good for ynnari (and dark eldar) - many lists are probably taking multiple venoms with kabalites and wyches, which are both spectacularly good at mowing down enemy battleline units, and also super speedy to suddenly drop your own battleline unit in their deployment zone!

Won a tough round against WE 75:65 at a GT on the weekend thanks to the secret mission. Felt like such a nice play and really changed the dynamics of both of our games once I chose one. (5 Spiders and a fnf Autarch, nice premeasured command insertion for sure)
A game against T'au going 2nd on Linchpin too, I just scored 0/3/3/3/38 going second with unbroken wall. Truly a passive castle game that was! (obvs capped at 40)

i took Thousand Sons to a local GT (SVGT) and lost pretty good, but i pulled off a secret mission twice, for the two games i used it. Command Insertion is real easy with magnus lol

Now that youve played the new pack, have you tried the secret mission exploit in any of your games? How did you get it to work and do you think GW will have to patch it out before tournaments come out?
Secret mission exploit? I didn’t know that an exploit exists!
@@ProxyHammer1 Its pretty simple, but only a couple factions can do it. Sit in your deployment zone with a full shooty list and fixed secondaries that you think will work against your opponent. Don’t do anything for 3 turns except shoot and farm vp, then pick War of Attrition as youve likely killed every battleline unit already and youre garanteed 90 points. Its just a math game at that point, the only way you lose is if the opponent didnt see it coming or cant do anything about it and score 91 points. Prime candidates are Tau and Guard with their big buffs and maybe Aeldari and Tyranids. Eldar could take the command insertion like you mentioned in the video. I havent seen anybody show it working yet but it was something some content creators talked about brought up before the release
@@SumsieBun I can see that but the problem with that list is that I could literally do the same thing if I see my opponent doing it and just hide my battle line units until the last turn and then move them out of my deployment behind terrain.
At that point remember if the players are tied on VP then you can both select a secret mission.
Obviously the new terrain density is huge in pariah nexus. Not sure the hack will work against every opponent

Man, I love your videos but I cannot stand to have ad breaks every 3 minutes. I get that you need some monetization for your work, but this is a little too much (at least for me)
Honestly I have very little control over it with YT’s new ad policies. There is only supposed to be 3 ads total (beg, mid, end) no clue why people are seeing more, sorry man 😔
@ProxyHammer1 at my side I got one ad break at 18:00 and that's all. So yes, definitely, it depends on YT policy and is probably based on localisation of the viewer.
I also noticed in the past that going back and forth in a video using the timeline is triggering more ad breaks than just looking at the video from begin to end, I think YT wants to "make you pay more" when you use the advanced functions 😂
