It is very important to give effective viva presentation to prove that you have done a very good research. But I have seen as PhD examiner many students fail in giving good presentation. It is not such a difficult task and it is very easy to give stunning presentation if you know certain basics of presentation techniques.
I have gathered tips from my experience and observation that are given in this video as tips.

What motivated and inspired you to carry out this research?
Why is the problem you have tackled worth tackling?
Who has had the strongest influence in the development of your subject area in theory and practice?
Which are the three most important papers that relate to your thesis?
What published work is closest to yours? How is your work different?
How did your research questions emerge?
What are the strongest/weakest parts of your work?
What are the contributions to knowledge of your thesis?
What are the main achievements of your research?
What have you learned from the process of doing your PhD?
What have you found the most interesting aspect of your research?
How did your thinking about this topic develop as you went through this research process?
Now that you have completed the research, which part of the process would you say you enjoyed most and why?
