Garver's swing at 4:11 was so committed and balanced it almost looked like a golf swing. That pose and bat drop was gangster af. Love it.
Texas went cold at the end of the regular season just to unleash during Post Season like "This isn't even my Final Form"
Which shows that the reg season means nothing once we get to postseason baseball.
The series vs mariners was playoffs. And it helped them a lot. Then playing Tampa showed them they could do it.
They were injured and barely getting healthy.

the rangers would have scored maybe 6 or 7 runs if the orioles didn’t give up a million walks. the grand slam was because of 3 straight walks. all the orioles need is pitching
As a rangers fan I attended this game today… My dad and I were the only rangers fan in our section🤣 I wore my cowboy hat and boots and was told I wouldn’t be leaving the stadium with that hat on. Walked out of there after getting to take a picture with Semien pregame, winning a road playoff game on my birthday(first rangers game I had been to since I was 8), watching Garver knock a missile down the line where I was sitting for a GRAND SLAM, and was able to get interviewed by Hannah with my dad and some other rangers fans. This 22nd birthday seriously couldn’t have gone better.

Yeah, that's always fun to be the ones surrounded, kind of like the Alamo. I was in Toronto last month walking to my seats in Rogers Centre when some fool told me to take off my Rangers jersey. I said why don't you come and take it off for me. He and his little buddies kept walking.

Crazy we let kela go for him. But at the time I thought the reason was that he was younger. Turns out not to be true at all. I would not mind having kela back.
@abaofifsz Kela was good as a Ranger, but after 2015, he has only 1 season where he was over 50 innings, which was 2018, and ever since 2018, he never pitched more than 30 innings in a season. Leclerc pitched over 50 innings in both 2018-2019 before suffering a major injury in 2020 and 2021. He would pitch 47 innings in 2022 and then finally get back in his groove late this year in 2023. I think Leclerc is overall the better pitcher.
That's why you have video to look at on the off day or when you come in to change what you do next time and adjust.

It would only be funy if you're a Rangers fan. If we get to Braddish again in Game 5 we can win this. The Orioles will not go quietly.
That's the thing, once the postseason starts, the records are wiped clean and it doesn't matter what you did during the regular season. Orioles seem to be suffering from Happy to Be Here syndrome, whilst the Rangers are hungry to go the distance.

Grossman would be good if he would just swing at the ball lol. He just try’s to get walks. It drives me nuts.
I been so mad despite winning this past 3 games Mitch is a way superior player than Grossman. That was the key to winning this game.
Everybody thinks they're smarter than a guy who has won 3 world championships and 14 out of the last 15 playoff series or something like that. If Grossman is in the lineup, there's a reason, same with Garver. Proud of Garver for getting the grandslam and making the most of the opportunity.
Watching the Rangers sweep Toronto about a month ago made me realize how good they are. Destined for the WS
I thought the 2019 Ravens would lay the biggest playoff egg in Baltimore Sports History. Turns out they've got some company. The Orioles have had an amazing season undone by one series. Brandon Hyde has literally gift-wrapped Texas two games in this series by bringing in Jacob Webb, and Bryan Baker to throw cookies. Not to mention can I find anyone that can hit with runners in scoring position. You can show up any time you guys. I know the narrative is to say, "There's always next year" but what part of recent Baltimore Sports don't you understand. Losses like these are super hard to recover from because it hangs over you for a long time. I know the series isn't over, but in my opinion, it is because there's no way they're beating Eovoldi on Tuesday.
Two pitchers who had barely anything to do with our seasons success have cost us the postseason sigh
Baltimore had a bad, bad weekend. That loss in Pittsburgh could swing the whole division, it helped Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.

I am so proud of my Orioles for the season they had. That being said, this postseason team looks like a completely different team than the one I've been watching all year. They probably couldn't have played two worse games. It is making me sick. Let's go O's!....in 2024.
Playoffs are always tough and a crapshoot, depending on who is hot, who's not, and the baseball Gods. But, remember, your season is not over with so no need for the past tense. From a Ranger's fan.

As disappointing as this series has been so far, we've got to remember as Orioles fans that we've had an AMAZING season in 2023. If Texas wins, I've had fun watching this team, and we'll only get better. Im keeping the faith that the birds can turn this around, but if not, what a ride! Let's go Os!
I hate to say this as an O's fan, but I feel like this is like watching the 2019 Ravens all over again. Because this may have been our shot. The Yankees and Red Sox right now like the Steelers in 2019 won't be down for long, and you must take advantage of it because if not, this kind of defeat will be your legacy.

I like many thought the O’s looked promising after their 2014 season in spite of how that ended.
But they’ve only come up flat every year since then, never won a playoff series after that year, and are now going on 40 years since winning a title

It's not over till it's over. I always take this game to game, because from the 2011 WS, 2012 Choke, 2015 ALDS 2-0 Choke, 2016 ALDS getting swept, I know that it isn't over till it's over. I just hope the Rangers get it done in 1 of the next 3 games.
