I know it takes a lot of work for you Fern but we appreciate so much the constant uploads (even when you’re out of town). Liked the video before it even started playing 💞
This is so nice to read 💚 thank you so much Irene 🥰🤗
Me watching this in 2024 and just being so amazed at how much these have grown!!! And Miss Bakeri was so tiny and now she's a MOTHER. Can we have an updated anthurium tour asap?? 🥹♥️
Awww right!! And yes I definitely think I’m due for an updated collection tour :)
Fern I would love to see a start to finish of growing anthruriums from seed! 💗
I’m completely new to the process and would love to get a pallidiflorum but even cuttings are out of my price range 😣
It would be a cool journey to watch 💚
I had started filming it, but wasn't sure if anyone would be interested haha. Good to know you would be!
Interested too!! 💚
Hey Fern, thank you for that nice video 😊 I just wanted to mention that the Anthurium pallidiflorum is not climbing and it likes to hang down rather than being staked. I would suggest checking out some pictures of how they grow in the wild. I have mine in a hanging pot and it loves its life. 🥰
This. Treat it kinda like a creeping plant so the stem can root into the soil with its new roots. My pallidiflorum upsized its leaves by a ton after i repotted it properly.
Thank you so much! I can't wait to pot it up and have it situated better 🌿
love a good planty video in the morning 🥰 thanks so much for all the effort you do!! love your videos
Thank you so much Ash 🥺🫶
I've found that the anthurium I grew in my regular house conditions, while they grew slower, are looking so much better than the ones that grew in my terrarium! The acclimation has been rough for everyone that has had to get used to my house instead 🌱
Ahh yes so true. It's nice to just acclimate some plants to regular household conditions right off the bat.
Hello Fern! I have also a Forgetii that started out fantastic, it gave me huge beautiful leaves and than during the summer created this problem with the crispiness on the edges of the leaf. According to what informations I have gathered, that seems to be caused by overwatering because underwatering will create crispy tips and will not show on the other parts of the leaves. It makes sense that Anthuriums need less water because they store it in their juicy roots and thick leaves. Also the fact that they are good shippers indicate that they hold more water than other plants. Maybe it needs a chunkier soil so it has more air pockets? I am trying to water less and till now the new leaf is perfect and hasn't shown the same problem.
Hmm yes this makes sense! Thank you for sharing. I'm glad to hear yours is doing better now 🙌
The Anthurium Bakeri is beautiful and a wishlist plant. Loving your collection. Thank you for another lovely video. Your hair has grown soooo much!💚
Hey girl. You should put your forgetii in pon maybe that would help with the underwatering. Mine loves it!
thanks for the upload fern. hope you’re having a good trip 💜
thank you so much - my trip was great 🥰
Can’t wait to see how they all grow up, updates would be nice :)
Such perfect timing 🙂 I just ordered two vitarifolium seedlings from NS Tropicals and a couple minutes after, your video popped up 👍
Hi Fern is so rewarding to see how they grow from being so small to a beautiful plant!!
and these are on the way👌
You have a great collection now.
💚🪴🌵🌱
thank you Sylvia 💓🫶
I’ve become a anthurium lover too and it started with growing seedlings out and now I’m absolutely crazy over them. I’m also loving alocasias also.
Yay, always when I see a new video from you I get super exited because I know that it will be fun and cool to watch, so thank you for such great content. 💚
Awe thank you for always watching! 🌿
What a great collection! I can't wait to add a anthurium pallidiflorum to my collection as well
EVERY TIME I SEE YOUR VIDEOS POP UP, I GET GIDDY AND EXCITED!
YES YES YASSSS PLEASE! Thanks for always posting! Thank you for sharing your amazing content. Cheers to you!
Give us some more girl! I AM HERE FOR IT!!!!
Chloe your comments always make me smile!! Thank you 💓🫶
Ooooooeyyyy love this video already girlie 🥰💚
So appreciate all of your videos.. Hoping you had a fantastic time camping.. I am sooo excited to get my wildfern hoodie. Suppose to arrive on my birthday so thats perfect!
Thank you so much! Camping was great 🏕 ahhh so cool that you ordered a hoodie! I really appreciate the support. I hope you love it and happy early birthday 💚🌿
I only have two baby villanaorum seedlings and just got a small clarinervium last week. Someday I'd love a queen! Your collection is lovely.
Love that you're getting into Anthurium! One of my favorites in my collection is the cutucuense, it's got these stunning silvery leaves with red petioles. The leaves are absolutely adorable as they unfurl 😍
omg the cutucuense is sooo cool!!
@@wildfern hope to see this one in your collection one day, it's been a delight to grow!
I just added the Anthurium Elipticum to my collection today. I'd never seen such a wide Anthurium. She's massive, and just so stunning. Fingers crossed I can keep her looking as good as she does now!
Another lovely video, thank you so much for sharing your Anthurium collection. Currently only have one but I do love them and it’s only a matter of time before I have more. Haven’t yet plucked up the courage to order any plants online, so rely on what come in to local retailers.
Great video!! Love your vids and your energy 💚 I’m happy you are enjoying growing anthurium. I started with a vitchii and a magnificum, I wasn’t sure that I was taking good care of them and finally after almost a year I have a new magnificum leaf growing!! That gave the confidence to go get a queen, I hope she does well in my care too 💚
Ahhh yessss queens are so incredible! I live vicariously through everyone who has one haha
Love all of your content!
Loving your hair so much !!!❤❤❤❤ and welcome to the anthurium world. I love the long strappy leaves , and the queen 👸🏼 of course haha!!!
Thank you so much! yesss long scrappy leaves forever 🙌🌿
Hi Fern. I was inspired by you to get myself a Vittarifolium and a Pallidiflorum. Mine are just tiny babies though. I’m so excited to watch them grow! I just wanted to say that I love watching your videos, and thanks for all the plant inspiration 💚
i'm starting with anthurium too and have the smallest anthurium plants❤️ I hope we do well with them:)
@@carmenlana9258 Good luck with your anthurium babies Carmen ❤️
Love so much fern content ♥️
🥰🥰🥰
I love your anthurium collection girl 😻💚
thank you natashaaaa 🥰🫶
Yes I would love to see more I am just getting into them as also. I always turn to your channel for information thanks do much
My favorites are Anthurium regale, waroqueanum and Silver Blush. I have a Silver Blush, a cristallinum and 2 andreanum, 1 with pink and the other with salmon flowers. All of them are growing really well. I love to get me some more 😀
I’ve recently became an Anthurium lover😩☺️ I ordered a Anthurium Bakeri and it DID NOT disappoint. I definitely hope to get a collection of Anthuriums. I enjoyed this video!💕
Ahh that's amazing to hear. So far I am loooving the bakeri 💚
Appreciate the video Fern! I’m thinking about getting a couple of anthuriums.
Fern please don't apologize for your plants not looking "perfect" i feel like we are so hard on our self when plants don't look ig ready but the reality is plants are meant to be outside, and we are bringing life into our home so it's okay if they don't look perfect ❤️
This is a good reminder - thank you 🥺
Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to more anthurium content I love them! I would love to try pollinating and getting berries/seedlings some day!
I want to try that too!! It intimidates me though hahah
so happy that you’re getting more comfortable with anthurium! i bought a big forgetii from ecuagenera last month and it’s REALLY happy in sphagnum moss. it hasn’t even finished rerooting before throwing out a growth point! i just water until the top and middle (i have it in a clear pot) is saturated and let like half an inch pool at the bottom and it’s doing just fine. maybe that can help with underwatering? anyways love the video❤️
I've found all my Anthuriums to be really happy in moss! Lots of big new leaves 🍃
@@PlatinumMagnesium especially if you don’t have amazing humidity moss provides that extra little bit of moisture around the stump to pump leafs out! at least that’s what i make myself believe💀
I don’t have any anthurium in my large collection - I can’t keep up with their kind of care - but, I loved seeing all of yours!
Yes, I love Anthurium, more videos about them 🥰
Love your videos!
I love your anthurium collection so much!!! I don’t have any anthurium but you make me want to try out a few
Yes, always fun to try out something new ☺️🌿
This is so timely
Im definitely becoming an anthurium girlie too!!! There my favorite genius as of recently. They are just soooo beautiful! Im obsessed! Expensive but worth it!!!
They are pretty special 🌿💚
I only have one anthurium radicans but it's so easy I may need more. I'm loving it so much. Thanks for the video
Thank you for watching ☺️🌿
This video is making me want to try some more anthurium! I’ve only successfully grown Superbum for a little over a year now. I’ve rotted “Fingers” (pedatoradiatum) twice. I’ve been hesitant due to the price tag but if I can find a cool one or even a seedling I might try it! Maybe a care video next?
I'm also getting more and more into anthuriums! I have 6 at the moment. Can wait to get my Ecuagenera order with 5 more anthuriums (plus 3 philos) on August 12th!!! Love ALL your videos!
I can't wait to see pics of your order 😍
Your collection sure is growing! I just started getting a few and am so afraid of killing them…
Anthuriums are my favorite hoping to get better at growing them.
I have a forgettii shipping in the mail right now! So exciting :) great collection!
Ahh that is awesome!! I hope it grows well for you 🥰
@@wildfern my forgettii arrived perfect! Took my breath away....thanks....anthurium are contagious! See you soon :) love from MN
Hey fern i just got my black love anthurium. Excited to show it too 🥳 hope it wont die on me
Eeeeppp exciting! Hope it does amazing 🖤
I'm definitely loving Anthurium these days. I'm not going to be able to get a greenhouse cabinet until I move into my new place hopefully in a few months so I'm staying away from the harder ones right now. I have a Rad x Lux that I'm loving. I also just got a Veitchii and the Warrocqueanum. I know the Queen Anthurium is more difficult but it's a smaller plant and I do have a greenhouse tent for now so I couldn't resist. In the meantime I'll live vicariously through yours.🥰
Oooo I'd love to have the king and queen. Hope they do fabulously for you!
@@wildfern Thanks! I took advantage of the Equagenera sale thanks to the post on Discord. So glad I did. They were a steal! 😁
Definitely feed those anthurium! They love to eat, lots of fertilizer 🫶🏼
agreed!
Thank you!!
Love this Video 😍
Thank you!!
Love them!
thank you 🥰
I’ve heard that the forgetii is a more difficult one! I’ve very recently got into anthurium too, I have the king, which is amazing, and the crystallinum which is pretty amazing as well! Love love love how the leaves come out red
oooo the king is so cool! yes crystallinum is such a classic, I'm glad I have some hybrids with it's hardy genes ☺️
Thanks for another great video hun
hun mean hunny?
thanks again for watching 💓
I love love the pallidiflorum. I have a small one(has new growth)🥰
Awe thank you! And yes haha I can't believe how long my hair is now!
I was Literally few days ago asking myself If that crazy girl will finally do the anthurium collection haha Thank you :)
😃😃😃
Browning on the edges can also be because of low humidity, which is why it did good in the cabinet but outside not so much, maybe get a large pebble tray under it and keep that thing moist, it helps so so much woth my plants, increases the humidity by 20% just with a few trays, als spraying does help for me so I do that, usually with a bit of vodka and dishsoap in water to prevent pests as well, my plants love love love it , none of them are crisping at the edges!
I just got my vittarifolium this week with my joepii. Also have a superbum
Anthurium scare me a bit still. Yours are making me want to give it a go!!🤷♀️💚🧚🌱
Wow I'm excited to see that last luxurians x grow up. Ecuagenera just had their first pop up here in utah and I picked up anthurium arisaemoides from Ecuador and a epipremnum amplissimum variegated from US, they are acclamating well 🥰 there are so many lovely anthurium. How bout the lutheri? I bet you'd like that one!
Ahh exciting! Ecuagenera has such a huge variety of plants. Just looked up the Lutheri - so gorgeous!
I just got a queen anthirium and am in love, its my only rare plant but I believe I made a good choice
you made an excellent choice, I would love to have one in the future!
I’m not sure how much of Charmaine’s videos you watch, but I purchased some mycorrhizae (I use dynomyco) and my anthurium have started pushing out big leaves and aren’t dropping as many anymore! That and I also increased my watering to approx 2x a week (that’s when mine tend to get thirsty at least)
Oh!! This is a great reminder. I have myco and was using it but I totally forgot I had it omg hahah
Loved the Video as always😄 but i have suggestion for another one.. you could try a Anthurium Silver Blush cause i think this could be one for you :) (and i think from my experience its easy care and relativly fast growing as well)
Oh those are so pretty 😍
Yesss i love the constant content even if is same video we love you fern u are one of my favorite youtubers u are around my daugthers age i found u because of her she likemom watch wildfern in youtube u gonna love her and i pass it along my sisters niece and cousin subscribe to ur channel 💙💙💙💙💙
Awww this is so sweet! Thanks so much for watching, and for sharing with your family 🫶🌿
I just started my collection on Anthurium also.
I only have one anthurium; the pallidiflorum, but your magnificent hybrids look so niceeeee 👀👀👀
You have the best one 😌😃
Hey fern!
You and I have the same love for pendant anthuriums. I have the ones you have..but I also have a fredrichstalii and it’s my favorite.
Maybe you would like that one too ☺️
Just looked it up - gorgeous!!
Hi! I'm wondering what happened to your monstera adansonii on its moss pole? I'm curious because I want to do the same to my large one but am afraid it will take a long time for its leaves to lay the way I want them to, the aesthetically pleasing way.
Hey Fern!! What camera do you use to film? - Also, what camera did you begin to film with? Thank you!
💚💚💚
im becoming an anthurium girl too and it's a very fun time😭
Take any opportunity to keep anthurium in higher humidity as they will always do better in my experience
💚💚
I’d love to grow one from seedling. Is there a video on that?
not yet - I will have to make one!
Hi Fern, do you keep your pon plants in a reservoir or do you just water when dry(ish)?
Some of them are in a reservoir (self watering pots) and some are just in glass jars and I keep the water about 1/4-1/3 of the way up.
Thank you so much for this Anthurium video! Would you say that the pallidiflorum is a more easy care species than the vittarifolium?
This is what I've heard. I haven't had it long enough to say, personally.
@@wildfern Thanks anyway 🙏
Hey Fern! I'm interested to grow Anthurium from seed but I can't find where to buy some. I live in Canada so if you have any tips, I'm all ears. Thanks for the lovely video as always🌻
I got mine from @northernplantroom on instagram! She is great :)
its my Ficus Lyrata that gets the 'Crusty and Dusty' label XD
bahaha. if I had one it would surely be crusty and dusty too 😂
❤
I really want to be an anthurium chick 😂 but haven’t pressed the button yet on trying (again) given the way I murdered a regular red flamingo version 😖 and how my superbum seems to hate me 😔
Like, please bring the care videos, because I do not get them at ALL. Super duper want a vitarifolium too though 😭
Omgosh my forgetii leans just like that lmao ugh I underwatered him and I’m still tryna get him back to health lol
I love him tho 😄
It’s been such a hard plant for me to figure out, even though everyone says it’s easy hahah 🥲
💚🍀
🌱🌱🌱
Any recommendations for buying anthurium seeds in the US?? 💚
I'm not sure but I would check planty Facebook groups, I bet people would know!
I wouldn't put your anthurium in a chunky mix if there in moss. Especially if you are not on-top of watering.
❤ from India🇮🇳
💚🌿
How does shipping to Canada from the US work? I have a bunch of stuff I'd love to share that you'd have a blast with
You can't really :( You need expensive paperwork etc, it's hard to ship into Canada. It sucks! I always wish I could do trades with my American friends.
@@wildfern if I drive it in can I ship it to you in country? My son is taking a trip with his grandpa to hunt this year and I can send him with a package to ship off to you. I don't need anything in return, but I'm happy to share 🙂
What if we held hands at the plant store 👉👈
For the algo ❤️
thank you 🥺
Impressive, you’re hanging in the Bad Bitch territory ❤️
