I honestly don't get why this band isn't more popular. This is top tier shit, catchy melodies, beautifully disgusting breakdowns, fantastic vocals, all of the musicians are super talented.
They just need some tours with some better known band, likes next year they follow Tesseract around EU. Look what Jinjer or Spiritbox are achieving, Unprocessed are gonna be next

The band's style evolution is truly insane
That last guitar solo lives rent free in my head. That first wail disassembles my spine.
Not even going to lie, this is one of my favorite songs I've heard in MONTHS. This solo genuinely got me a bit emotional. Manuel is a genius.

i think because its a pretty inaccessible genre for most people, like metal is already pretty hard for some people and then adding the whole super complex guitar and melodies makes it even more inaccessible
@@youokboi8556 I can say that I'm not a metal fan at all, but I really like the latest release from Unprocessed. I tried to listen to heavy music before, but in the end I couldn't go further than prog/math rock. But I was absolutely blown away by Unprocessed's latest release because they're very good at taking the best of both worlds and I was able to listen to something that sounded like metal with great pleasure. But to be honest, although some of the tracks are quite heavy, overall the sound is much less distorted and "sweeter" to the ears than the metal I was trying to listen to previously
It's nice to have a band say "this will be our heaviest stuff yet" and not do octaine core

That's a quintessential Unprocessed here: technical, yet super catchy riffing, near-pop-song chorus, well crafted composition with flawless transitions from one part to another, and great atmosphere. But THAT solo! A pure treat

I feel like I did when I heard Duality by Slipknot for the first time at 13 and a new world opened up to me. Today, at 32, discovering something new and fresh is amazing. Sometimes you get so stuck on the same songs over and over again, but you just don't manage to broaden your horizons. Luckily I discovered Manuel on Instagram and thus the way to the whole band! The only modern metal(ish) band that doesn't drown the bass down to an illegible low frequency and instead, they make it as a distinct and a very prominent instrument. Keep that up. Riffs here are so slutty and filthy, I love it.
Check out Ne Obliviscaris. Best bass tone in the game. Completely agree though bands need to rely more on the bass to do its job instead of making the guitar do both
