If you picture yourself working in agriculture, or doing outside activities when it can get to 40 degrees Celsius, you''ll see why it makes sense to just skip the hottest hours of the day, and go for the coolest ones instead.
Really appreciate you putting chapter titles in the video timeline. Helps someone like me who is interested in life abroad, but not Madrid specifically. So I can click to those certain areas that are more applicable to me

Hi, the last update that we saw is that they had changed their holding amount if it was over either 10k or 50k, I'm not sure what the number was but it was high. There reasoning was because there were some significant fees they were being hit with (from what I remember). Fundamentally, they're still the same as the video we created. That stuff hasn't changed. We use the digital wallets a lot to pay people in different currencies. - Josh

@@trave7644 Here are two ways that I use Wise on a regular basis. 1 - I have "money" in the dollar or euro wallet and occasionally the balance of one or the other is low and I'll need to exchange some of the balance of USD into Euro or I'll need to pay someone in GBP and I'll make that payment by transferring them money via Wise. 2 - When we need to move a large some of money from the US to Portugal to add more money to our Portuguese bank account, we move money for our US bank account into our USD wallet with Wise and then from our USD Wise to our Euro Wise account and finally to our Portuguese bank account. Sounds like a process, but it takes less than a minute to get the money moving around. The banks slow things down to check to make sure the money is moving around legally, which is normal. - Josh
I have a duplex apartment in Madrid in Arguelles. I am an American here in Los Angeles. I have not been to Madrid since January 2020; during the beginning stages of the public ado over protocol, etc. I plan to return on an extended period in May. I have a Golden Visa that I just renewed at the embassy here. Question: does my NIE have an expiration date? Also. I have an 18 Audi S8. What is is the process if I have let my car registration lapse for the last two years to get it reinstated? My insurance carrier emailed me and advised me that it is out of registration. I pay insurance and had it modified for fire & theft when gone. Is it just fees and money? I have/ had a portero(doorman) that helps me with stuff. He has retired and I am having issue with the replacement portero in returning my calls and he does not text or email. He does not want to call me as its an expense. I offered a digital calling card but he claims to not do email! The prior portero would religiously start the car once every few weeks for me, keep it clean and have it ready for me. I have a battery tender hooked up and plugged in. The new portero told me he unplugged it as it is a fire hazzard!!! This one told me last we spoke that he is not a mechanic and that cars are bad for the environment.
